The age range is normally 13 to 17.

Well. In Australia people who get put in Juvi are normally 13 and over. But it really depends on the crime

It varys from State to State . Depending on the crime you can skip Juvi, and go straight to Adult Prison !
Usually 10 .

i don't know if there is an age limit.
i do know that there was an 8 year old put in juvi here where i live.it was on the news,he was put in for animal abuse.they caught him setting fire to the family pet.

well if you are old enough to ask this question then you are old enough to be put in juvi you can go to juvi i belive here in california as early as age 9 and then after 18 its off to jail so think befor you act ~k~

ohh god theres this stupid girl tht sits behind me in english and shes always asking me if i've been to juvy. i'm not bad or anything, i think its cuz we were learning about the set up of a court room. lol. i think its like 10-17. bart simpson's been there. lol.

it always depends on the severity of the crime. If you commit murder while 9 y.o. you will go to juvi. If it's shoplifting , they will give you community service...if that.

Up to seventeen in Texas. Unless the court declares you an adult. For a serious crime , like murder. Doesn't happen often, but does happen.
Best thing to do is avoid the situation that got you there in the first place.

Varies from state to state but, it really depends on what the Judge, Police, & State Attorney want to do.

Stay out of trouble hang out with the "right" crowd and you will have no worries
