I went to court on 30 seperate occasion to give evidence against a gang of yobs roaming my area causing fear and violence. 14 were convicted two of them sent to jail for smashing my windows. Two of the thugs eventually killed a man just up the road from me, they only got five years in jail. They attacked this man with bricks and hit the man on his head. The judge made the comment "I know that you never meant to kill him". I had to put plastic on my windows to stop them smashing my them. The thugs that broke my ankle only got 12 months conditional discharge. The police and local politicains encouraged us to come forward and give evidence against these thugs and then left us to it.

I think that there's probably some truth in what you're saying, but until you start to use Y!A honestly, everything you post is tainted.

I'm afraid the police are (how can i be kind) er less than use full, actually they are completely impotent. to be truth full the public are up against the most dishonest and corrupt government this country has ever had in power, low key civil unrest suits they're agenda very well indeed and they will do nothing SO!! there isn't a lot you can! do really ,except vote for a party that wants to silence all the do gooders and human rights fools, and kick the justice system into public ownership and control. because at the moment! the system is only concerned with making money and not! with up holding the law or protecting the public. sadly! we find ourselves in a situation where all three main parties have the same agenda. and all three are selling us into the EU. once there we are screwed with more political correctness that will give the criminal classes even more controle. so we have to considder one of the smaller parties. i dont think it would be a bad thing to get ridd of the main three anyway. Britain needs a complete change of dirrection. no matter which way you look at it, it is down to total and complete insanity that criminals are given more rights and consideration than the victims. and it bodes ill that the actual government you voted in!! is fine with the whole situation.

Sadly I have to agree with what most of you have said. Certainly until the British Public are allowed to defend their own property without fear of reprisal our privacy will continue to be invaded and that will only happen if we pull out of the EU. As has been said if we get locked into the EU via Brown and his sawneys then really the UK is finished and God help us all. We must push hard for a referendum on the issues surrounding the new EU policies and not use our votes for the 3 main parties-so called.

The police authorities should target problem areas and go in hard. These yobs lose their human rights and basically they should be harassed into submission. Police activities should be concentrated on eradicating crime by whatever method available. Rather than using resources to raise revenue they should be used to stop criminal activity, especially violence and drug peddling. People who commit financial crimes should pay by losing all their wealth and status in society.
Crimes of violence should carry long prison sentences and those found guilty should have to accept that their sentence is devoid of any luxuries and expectations which law abiding people strive for through their hard labour. These violent criminals should receive treatment in prison that is harsh and devoid of pity and when they complete their sentences it should be their fervent wish that they " go straight".

I am SO sorry.
No-one should have to live like this.
?More police, less red tape, stiffer sentences with prisoners
made to be as self-supporting as possible (grow own food etc.).
Made to work hard in jail.
Hit thugs in the pocket where it hurts.
Bring back the stocks, but NO throwing things at anyone in them. Being ridiculed might make them think.

These yobs are not very brave when caught on there own,One near us was and wet his little pants.UP WITH VIGILANTES.because the police will do nothing,its not there fault but HM gov has tied their hands with PC and red tape,Untie them and let them go and all the yobs would S**T themselves.

Unfortunately the courts give out too leaner sentences, I am one of those people that would lose it big time if I had problems with yobs.
