My 16 year old friend got pulled over by a cop he was alone and only had his permit.?

He gets his license next month...whats gonna happen to him? he didnt get a ticket or anything. Should he hire a lawyer?Since its his first time will they go easy? and only suspend his license?

It is a moving violation for driving without a valid license. He is going to get a possible suspension of his right to get a license. When alone, driving on a permit is the same as driving alone.

Go to the office of the policeman who confiscated the license and request for its release. Otherwise, ask what was the reason for confiscation so that a proper defense will be made.
