My opinion is this. i'm no fan of police brutality, nor do i like the idea of police state or whatever conspirators are cooking up nowaday. but hey, lets not throw violent words at each other, espacially you guys who are anti-cops. from what i notice, people are increasingly getting anti-cop, and are saying really nasty stuff about them. not all cops are bad, and can't really blame them for what they do. blame the system. cops are human too. they serve the public. yet unfortunately, humans get currupted, and whenever cops see disturbance, they think what they do is nessesary, like tasering disturbing people. look at UF student for questioning john kerry, and other places. yet however we may think it is bad, we cannot argue back with mindless ranting and such. without cops, this country will go down. look at martin luther king jr. God rest his soul, and his use of love and peace to fight hate. do you think it was a failure? NO! i think we should use the same method against the currupt.

Hi, im thinking about two career fields as i re-enter the civilian world in two weeks. One of which is a career in Law Enforcement. However, im afraid i will be turned away. When i got back from Iraq i was told i had PTSD and since i was over there i have problems sleeping. I only take one prescription for the sleeping issue, and non of this affects my work ethic, or my attendance ever. I really dont know which career i should pursue. I want to be a police officer always did, but im a good mechanic its what i did in the Army and i know it pays better and i dont have to put my life on the line. What to do?

A 20 year old Wisconsin Deputy, lost his mind today, and shot some teenage kids in a small town of that state where he grew up............One of the teens actually ended up dying.

My question was did this deputy use his service weapon? If so that department should merge, or close down because we all know their getting sued by everyone in that resturant.

What are your thoughts

I just got a notice in the mail from the Secretary of State in Illinois stating my driver's license was suspended for being CONVICTED of more than three offenses in a 12-month period. The dates of the offenses are barely within 12 months (the first being 3-24-05 and the fourth 3-22-06). But the first two conviction dates were 2005 and the last two were in 2007, which is more than 12 months apart and that's what the vehicle code states. I am planning to call and complain but I want to know if I can get rid of this suspension because of the wording and the fact that my convictions are two years apart.
I also think it's unfair because it has been 19 months since my last ticket and they could have suspended my license in 2006, instead my suspension is slated to begin 11-30-07. Is this worth fighting? Do I have a chance to get rid of it because that is what the wording says.

An off-duty sheriff's 20 year old deputy went on a shooting rampage at a home early Sunday in northern Wisconsin, killing six people and injuring a seventh before authorities fatally shot him, officials said.

The suspect was 20 years old and worked full-time as a Forest County deputy sheriff and part-time as a Crandon police officer, Sheriff Keith Van Cleve said. He would not release the suspect's name but said he was not working at the time of the shooting. The question everyone is asking is he an Iraqi war veteran?

I let my ex borrow an old laptop and my toolbox. My ex was living with some girl they were seeing. After their "break up," my ex moved out leaving some things behind so they can pick them up later (which included my laptop and toolbox). The girl said she decided to place my items out on her porch so that anyone who walks by can grab them; and in fact someone did. I am taking the girl to "small claims court" because she stated she wasn't going to pay me for it. I want to make sure that she did get rid of my property, so i want to know how can i go about getting the police to search her apartment. This girl is very spiteful and could just be lying and acting immaturely. So, before i go ahead to small claims court, i want to make sure she doesn't have it. If you guys can give me any info on if this is possible and/or how to get started with this warrant, i'd appreciate it! Thanks!

I thought all law enforcement officers were trained to recognize a medical emergency. They should know that in the situation of that lady that was arrested in the airport should have received immediate crisis intervention. Why didn't they take her straight to the hospital? It seems so obvious that she needed medical attention not jail. If she was having a heart attack would they have taken her to jail? Why are they not taught that mental conditions that may effect behavior are MEDICAL conditions as well, that need treatment?

I recently got a traffic ticket that contains 3 seperate violations on it. I was wondering if the 3 violations on the same ticket count as 3 points or one? Also, if I am eligible to take Traffic School, will the traffic school clear up the whole ticket, including all 3 violations? I am based in Los Angeles, California. Thanks.

Last night i was hanging out with a couple of my friends outside our appartments. When three undercover cops rolled up. Nobody was currently drinking nor were any beer cans visible. But 2 of them had backpacks on with beer inside. the police decided that they could look inside my friends backpacks with out consent. i didnt think they wuld have any reason to search. nobody was drunk or being loud. Can the police really do this?

I wasn't drinking and proved this when i blew a .00 but I feel for my friends that had drinks in their backpacks. i know underage drinking is wrong but what the cops did didn't seem right.

ps. please no fith degree about it being wrong. I already know.
