Law Enforcement & Police - October 2007

I recently saw a show on tv about a woman who perform oral sex on her child and allow her child to do oral sex on her mother. She was also allowing a man to participate in a child pornography. This act made me sick to the stomach and I cried for that girl. I want to know how I can help get these sick people off the streets.

i just got done doing 3 years in jail with work release saved over $70,000 by putting my pay check in the bank every week just had to pay for the hubart cost of $60 a week i work 12 hours a day just sleep in jail now i can buy a houe with the money i saved ya they really punished me haha

I just viewed a news video of a police officer punching a girl he was arresting after she tried to BITE him. Allegation-Police Brutality.
Next, the "Jena 6" 6 black men beat a white in front of dozens of witness arrested and charged with attempted murder--Are the charges Racism?
Now Obama says too many blacks going to prison. Is he proposing a quota system on prison sentences? Is it racism for a black to go to jail after being convicted of a crime?
So, what about responsibility--It is NOT racism if you are sent to prison for a crime you committed. It is NOT police brutality, if you assault someone and they fight back. GET A CLUE! Criminal conduct should be punished. Because you are a minority does NOT give you the right to commit crime nor assault another. Or am I missing something? You do the crime, do the time. Don't try to hurt another, they might hit you!
It is NOT racism to arrest Illegal Aliens--READ IT--ILLEGAL aliens--they violated the law.

I recently got caught stealing from the register at work. I have a supervisor I was close with. We were both hurting for money so, she told me their was no cameras and to take $600 from my drawer and we would split it to make ends meet. She told me she would fix the loss in my register to make it even. Well
turns out she set me up and called the cops on me after she took her half, I was arrested and now am out on bail. Does anyone know how much money a person has to take to call it embezzelment? I offered to pay it back, my sister-in-law wanted to help because I have two babies that need me so much right now. I dont know what to do. I'm trying to get a lawyer to help, my family is pulling together to come up with the money. I'm so scared, I didnt know my supervisor would do this to me, does anyone have good advice for me? Since Ive never stole before, do you think a lawyer can get the charges dropped to like a petty theft? HELP !!! NEED GOOD ADVICE!! LOL I sound desperate huh?

I'm sure every state has it's own laws (I'm in Arizona by the way), but what are the general laws about this? Someone keeps parking in front of my house and they block in some of my roomates and also park right in front of our trash cans so they can't be picked up. It's really frustrating. Can I call the police about this or should I just poliet write a note and place it on their car? Thanks!

I was receantly stopped while driving. They asked me a serious of questions regarding the car, but one of the started asking how much I pay for my insurance. I didn't see what it had to do with him and after been asked 50 questions or so I told him it had nothing to do with his inquries as soon as I said that, his eyes lit up and he threated to "go through the whole car and turn it upside down" if I got cheeky. Can the police really make threats like that or is this officer walking past his depth?

i cross the border every week (by care). Im a us citizen but have family in Tijuana. iv experianced some great, professionl, well spoken officers. Although i have also come across a few bad ones. Those that abuse there authority and ask you irrelivant questions (what highschool did you attend? who was your 6th period teacher? what hospital were you born in? who was our 6th presidant? ) these are questions i should know the answer to but are irrelivant to my citizenship. when i look at them like "why are you asking me this?" the get offended and try to say thats how they prove im a citizen (not in those words but that is what they have me understand) And also use intimidation and sarcastic tones. iv come across a handfull but i just feel like they give a bad name to those agents whom just want to do there job in a respectful manner. what would be the most effective and best way to approach a complaint? will it work??

Do we realy pay money to cops to set on the pot.
Tapping their toes to the tune of "Wild Irish Rose ".
In comes craig happy and gay spreading his feet far away.
Did he comit a crime ,,not in my mind.

THE PERSON WHO HIT ME IS UNIT1. the driver female blew a stop sign as i proceeded to cross a small street as she was trying to turn right on to a big street. She saw me trying to cross and hit me anyways and blew the stop sign. she had the nerve to ask me why didnt i stop when i have the right of way and when she didnt even stop for the stop sign. ANYWAYS WHAT DOES UNIT 2 MEAN. THE POLICE TOTALLY TOOK HER SIDE AND THEY HAVE ME AS UNIT2? SHE MIGHT EVEN HAVE BEEN INTOXICATED OR HIGH AND THEY DIDNT EVEN TEST HER FOR IT. I WAS TOO BUSY BEING STRAPPED INTO AN AMBULANCE. MY WHOLE BODY HUSRTS AND IM ON CRUTCHES AND NECK BRACE.

I earned my associates in law enforcement last year. And this year i applied to join the cadet program it took the dept of chicago 8 months after i put the application in. Now every 6 weeks I get called in for an interview or refrences put all this is so spread apart it's like a months wait for the next processing i'm getting a bit frustrated becuase it been almost a year since i apllied and i'm still in the processing. I know this is a long process but do any police officers have any advice who have gone through this?

My parents let me drive THEIR car.....I pay for the gas and the maintance since I use it.....We had originally agreed that they would pay for half of the cost of the maintance but my mom being the manipulative person she is decided after talking to her friend that I am to pay for all the maintance(I work part time and am a single mom so I dont make alot of money)....I payed for the car to get smoged because it needed it before they could get the current registration tags for it--Well when I called DMV about seeing if I could pick up the tags they said NO I COULDNT because I am NOT the registered owner of the car and the tags will be sent VIA MAIL.(the car has expired tags on it now)-I went out today and when I had come back to the car at the place I went there was a ticket on it for $150.00 for the expired tags and $75 for a fix it(total of $225) My mom said they arent paying it& that I am to pay it I am NOT the owner.My ??whos responsible for the ticket since I drive $its their car?

My friend and I were just driving down the road smoking a bowl, driving on country roads and about 15 20 min. right after we got out of a town we passed, he pulled us over. For not coming to a comlete stop at a stop sign and driving left of center. Now, I've never in my life been that stoned where i wouldn't realize that. especially not after 20 min. I drove back through the same way we were coming that night about 5 times now and... of corse no stop sighn what-so-ever. and there weren't even any lines on the road. so of coarse we got busted. but do you think i would have a chance to get out of this whole mess at court? since he lied about why he pulled us over, even though he found evidence? btw. the address in the report doesn't match where he pulled us over at. PLEASE HELP ME!... i really don't want to have to pay this fine... lol

okay please dont give me the whole your stupid and u shouldnt have done it thing...i realize that! Well i had no money n i needed things for skewl n stuff LONG story...well anyways i was in zellers and i took something from the shelf and returned it and then got money back on a gift card....i also took a bra and bought a pair of underwear my boyfriend opened a cd and took it and i put it in my purse for him...i got caught and im being charged with theft under $5000(what i took came up to $92) im not sure if im being charged for fraud because the lady that caught me said that i could be for doing the whole gift card thing but it doesnt say it on the paper i got. What am i looking at? jail time? This is my first time being charged and having to go to court is there any way to get pardoned from it because i really don't plan on doing it again. please help guys
