SO, you mean to say, at 4:30 am everyone was quietly sleeping in tents? Is the propertly fenced, and how close are the neighbors. If the owners provide a paper that they gave permission for the people to be there, the police must have had probable cause to come there. And if there were anyone under the age of 18 the police (I think,) don't have the authority to give a breath anylisis to children with out parents permission, or a lawyer present. I'd hire an attroney, and fight it because you don't want anything on your record. Lawyers can plea bargin anything like from a drunk and intoxication of a minor down to a disturbing the peace or disorderly conduct, or something

In California, You can video tape anything except through someone's windows.
We have had problems in our neighborhood, and the law is, we can videotape the street all we want. The police warned us that if we videotape, if our cameras point to anyone's windows, then we are in violation of the law.
There are camera systems that you can block out parts of the video automatically. If you tell your neighbor that you want to video tape outside, but your camera points to their windows, then you can block out their windows and even give them the passcode to take off the censor. Then they would be the only ones to be able to change anything, reaffirming their privacy.
Contact the Police to see what your rights are, since you are in Ontario.

I don't know anything about Canadian law.
Let him take you. If he already has problems with others, then this will just make him look crazier.
Enjoy your deck, and forget about that psycho, eh?

In the US, if they see you, they can tape you. That does not apply to being in your house and seen. If that were to be the case, then you would have a reason to biatch.

CALL THE COPS! That is exactly the reason that I keep 14 firearms in my house loaded at all times. I would probably shoot that mofo. Be careful because he sounds weird and don't get yourself caught up in danger.

It is illegal for anyone to video tape you without your express permission. It is also illegal for someone to be on your property without your permission.

You should report him to police right away.
I don't know the law, but it needs to be on record, in case he gets worse.
Police will know your rights.
