My bank says I can't get the money back and there is no way to find out who did this and prosecute them.It was for $58.00.My account was closed so it won't happen again. It scares me these things happen.I have tried to contact the place but it is confidental who's inmate account it is for.I don't think it is fair I can't know this information considering my name and information was used to pay for these services when i didn't authorize them.Any suggestions?

And no I di dnot give out my info.it was stolen and by someone i know and the police do not care to mess with ir since it's a small amount and the forgery department of the bank can't get the money back nor do they prosecute for thissmall ammount.,thats not the point,it was wrong and people can do this and nothing that I know of can be done!!! I have tried to contact the place who took my money.it is a correctional billing place that offers inmates to be able to get collect calls by using bank information as mine was used, omly I didn't authorize it!!!! The story goes deeper.....My daughters father visited her in my home and I beleive he got ahold of the information. to my bank.He denies it of coarse.Evidentally he knew what he was doing because you would think the law would do something.oNE CHECK WHICH WAS FORGED i KNOW IS HIS HANDWRITTING !!! Police don't care. When i asked him to leave out of anger he went and lied and got an ex parte against me stating he lived with me and i was abusive to him and our daughter and is staying in my house with permission of law and I can't even go in my house.I did not abuse anyone!!! Now he has accesss to everything in my home and is getting away with robery!!!! He is a convicted felon and homeless.I thought I was doing him and my daughter a favor to let him come into the home for a visit. Now I am being treated like the criminal not the victim.
