Cops are out of control! A cop arrested a guy for assault after he coughed! What is this place coming to? These cops are out of control and a menace to society!

Is it a felony if you do not replace your driving license when you move to another state? (provided that your old license has not expired). Is there a maximum allowable time period after which you must get a new license? What would happen if you are stopped by the police?

I once heard a story, second-hand, that an old guy was drunk driving and got pulled over by a cop.

Before the cop could do anything, the old guy got out of his car, tossed his car keys to the side of the road, then pulled out a whiskey bottle and took a huge long swallow. Then he threw the bottle crashing to the pavement.

The cop cursed him, because apparently he could not prove DUI. After all, the guy was no longer in possession of his car keys, was outside his vehicle, and could have become intoxicated only while drinking from the bottle while outside his vehicle.

Thoughts? (Especially interested in police officer views)

Oh, and again I stress that I "heard about this". May not have happened. Who knows.

police turn on lights and ask for license, insuranse and registratation. Then ask you to step out of car and do sobriety checks and B.A.C. which is 0.00 . Another officer searches your car (two seater, no trunk) says to the officer detaining me that there are open intoxicants in the back of car. The officer that is questioning me ask if i am on any illegal drugs, I answer no, He then asks if i take perscription drugs, I answer yes and name them. He never asked if when i last took them and places me under arrest for dui. Go to the station and ask me to take a blood draw for in toxication to which i approve with the understanding they will be checking for blood alcahol level. Turns out they are checking for everything, perscription drugs and illegal drugs. Is this proper procedures?

My friend works in a place where they sell alcohol and cigarettes and their policy is to check the ID of everyone, even if they look 80 years old! Anyway, he said that when cops come in they never have their ID on them and one of them said that they aren't requited to carry their drivers licenses when driving! Is that true?

Ok, my "real" mother commits id theft on a regular basis. Now I know she does this for a fact, she's stolen my identity once and has several ssn's and names she uses. She also is a big drug addict and also abuses the welfare system. I want to know how can I go about turning her over to the police. She also owes back child support as well to me (well my dad) that she never paid. Its like 8-10 years worth. How can I go about getting something done for that? I'm still in school, i'm 24.

I was thinking that police officers are supposed to be enforcing the law, in my opinion i think Police should have higher penalties for doing the same crimes as me or you.

They chose a career which means that they are supposed to help society and they make a deliberate choice to do break the laws that they are supposed to be protecting.

I think these people should be severely punished!

And never be able to be in any type of police/security role again.

And our tax money is thier paycheck..

I don't remember anything happening, but others say that it did. Plus I tested positive for a minor sexually transmitted infection shortly afterwards, which only could have came from him. My boyfriend also got it, because for 2 weeks I didn't know I was carrying it. I have all the evidence I need and am sure he'll come up positive for the STI. What should I do? I don't want him to get away with this, or pass this infection on to any other innocent girls. I'm also underage though so that factor will more than likely incorporate itself into the case, I wouldn't want the "suppliers" to get into any trouble. Would this be a problem, too?

Say someone got arrested last night, disorderly conduct. This person has warrants for traffic tickets. When i called--bond was set for an ammount already. When someone went to pay it, they said "yes, that is what their bond will be but they have to go to court first." so does that mean that this person will go to court and get screwed with more charges and raise the bond or that they will go to court today and be able to get out with the bond amount listed. i really have to know and also how long this is going to take. Someone help please.

In the article, Walters defended the aggravated second-degree battery counts most of those charged in the attack on Barker now face. He said Barker was "blindsided," knocked unconscious and kicked by at least six people, and would have faced "severe injury or death" had another student not intervened.

Schools Superintendent Ray Breithaupt also said in a news release Wednesday that the attack was no ordinary schoolyard fight.

"It was a premeditated ambush and attack by six students against one," the superintendent said. "The victim attacked was beaten and kicked into a state of bloody unconsciousness."

my question carefully so as not to offend. I see many other questions that have derogatory content that are not removed. I simply wanted to hear stories of people who had felt the police abused their power on them, this is only opinions of people I am not stating whether they are fact or not. Is this not freedom of speech?

Give me hints and ways to find out so that I know for sure, because a female called me and told me that she had phone sex with him 3 weeks ago. I want to end this once and for all. He denied it up and down, back and forth, although he looked very scared and guilty. lol! I was upset but now Im calming down. I cannot invest any of my emotion and time into a rat bastard who is going to be rubbing one out, everytime Im not there (we don't live together). He has a bird, I wish it was a parrot, maybe the parrot would tell me.. damn!

Any spy programs ANYTHING so that I can track him? I want to collect evidence and when he lies to me again, I will show him the evidence and he can stfu and stop denying it.

He's just got one more chance, and then he's history!!!

Please help with ideas, Im serious, no jokes, I need to know the best way to catch him at his own BS!

I booked and paid for a hotel room online through priceline. my name was the only person on the agreement to check into my room. it is stated on the priceline agreement that i must show identification and the credit card i used at check in. the hotel has "we check ID" on a sign at the check in counter. However a girl that i know checked into my room before I did. the hotel clerk showed me the forged signature, I showed him my ID and went to my room, none of my things were in the room yet, so the girl must have returned to my room later during the week that I stayed. just a couple days before check out i noticed that my laptop was missing. I called her and she said she had it and i could buy it back from her! Do you think i have a case?

Laws for legal window tints are different in each State, right?
So in order for your window tint to be 100% legal, would you have to change your window tint back and forth if you go from one State to another?

Or are your window tint requirements nationwide based on the State in which your car is registered?

My friend had a horrible relationship with an extremely jealous guy... it became too ugly to describe. She moved on and he just went crazy. I was always there for her and I didn't think he would ever go as far as he did...

So to make a long story short, he was convicted of rape last November. He's serving a 25 year sentence. Now not too long ago he wrote her a letter from prison with threats and everything else in it. Saying things like "if I escape" and "when I get out, I'm going to" do this and that.

I'd like to know what can be done with this letter. Can he possibly receive more charges/time if it was turned in? Or would it just be disregarded? My friend's scared now and can't stop thinking about him getting out. Should she bring the letter to authorities? Should she throw it away and try to forget him?
