my question carefully so as not to offend. I see many other questions that have derogatory content that are not removed. I simply wanted to hear stories of people who had felt the police abused their power on them, this is only opinions of people I am not stating whether they are fact or not. Is this not freedom of speech?

The computer automatically removes a question that has been flagged. It isn't reviewed by a human until you send a reply protest, then it may not be reversed anyway.

At the bottom of most pages is a link to the Guidelines for using this site. Please read them.

Offensive isn't the only kind of violation.

You can also read about the Moderator system by clicking those links. If you do so, you'll see that they've changed how it works recently.

Every post has a Report It link. That's how users get rid of violations.

It often takes time, so the offensive things you've seen may have been removed after you saw them.

Report all abuses, and abide by the Guidelines. If you're sure, after reading them, that you didn't violate them, appeal it.

This is Yahoo's free service. They have the right to define what is and isn't appropriate to post here.

Well you just admitted that it was in violation.

I simply wanted to hear stories of people who had felt the police abused their power on them, this is only opinions of people I am not stating whether they are fact or not

That is not the type of question Y!A is designed for.

Yahoo Answers is not a Forum for "hearing" stories from other members. It is a Question and Answer Forum. Freedom of speech is not an issue on a privately owned website. Your question falls into a violation as it is considered "Chat or rant".

It is my personal opinion that if you ask stupid questions you get stupid results.
