my boyfriend had 3 fines..we just paid one off and were planning on paying on the other 2 but online it says he has warrants and will not let me pay this it says to call the court does anyone know what will happen or why we can't pay this online? thanks.

he only has warrants because he has fines from traffic tickets and he never paid the fines.

He needs to call the court and probably turn himself in. If he goes in it will look a lot better on him then if the police have to come get him. He may spend a night in jail, however he may avoid that as well.

He needs to go to the court (the one with jurisdiction over the ticket) or his local police station, and pay his ticket, if he pays, the bench warrants will be cleared. Have him go early in the day, and not on a Friday, just incase he is booked on the warrant (this may or may not happen depending on your state, we have 51 different justice systems in the USA, that are sometime very strangely different). But if these are only civil traffic tickets, and he pays the fine, there should not be any jail time, unless he tries to pay at five pm on a Friday, then a weekend in jail is a possibility.

it means that they probably have a warrent for his arrest. Depending on what he did will dispict on what happens. Most likely though he will get some jail time. Is he late on paying the fines? if so then it will rack up more charges and he will get jail time.
