my question carefully so as not to offend. I see many other questions that have derogatory content that are not removed. I simply wanted to hear stories of people who had felt the police abused their power on them, this is only opinions of people I am not stating whether they are fact or not. Is this not freedom of speech?

I think it was that fat little hamster...can't trust hamsters!
I haven't been, except for once when I was pulled over, for driving thru a black area (I'm white) & my passenger was black. Most of my family are cops, my bro was a state police, an uncle a police chief & cousins patrolmen. I learned what to do when pulled over, to not make them more nervous!
I only speed on highways too, so I don't tangle with locals too much.

I am guessing but, your question was probably reported as "chat or rant". Yahoo Answers is for questions and answers, not a place to "swap" stories. This is a violation of the Community Guidelines. You really should read these guidelines. Freedom of speech is not a "right" in a privately own website.

Having just read your questions and answers I'm surprised to see you still have this account. Yahoo is a private entity who allows you to use this forum at no charge as long as you follow basic simple rules.

In other words, it's Yahoos playground. You just get to use it.
Their playground.
Their rules.

I remember once an officer stopping me after I made a u-turn through a gap in the guard-rail on the interstate and telling me to put on my seat-belt and that it was dangerous to make such a turn. What an abuse of power, If he left me alone I could have keep on doing this and could have been killed, as is my legal right.. What a nasty cop.
