Because the perp is a juvenile, his record will not become public record, despite the fact that he is a hardened criminal already.

The Supreme Court has already outlawed the death penalty for people under 18 (The DC Sniper case)

This is a project im doing for law academy about search warrants. Subject A lives in Town B and commits a crime in Town B by stealing some stuff from a local merchant. Subject A then moves 300 miles ( still in the same state) to Town C (for college or work) with the stolen stuff. However Subject A's family still lives in Town B in the same house. Amount of stolen goods = 1500 dollars. Can the State Police get a search warrant for Subject's A location in Town C. How hard would it be to get the search warrant? Do they need hardcore evidence? Lets say Subject A is already being charged with petite larceny is there more incentive to get the search warrant 300 miles away? Is it normal for state police to issue a warrant so far away even though in the same state? or is the time and resources needed not worth their time for such crime? How hard would it be for police to realize Subject A's new location if he was living on a campus for college?

Kate and Gerry McCann were intereviewed by the police for 25 minutes yesterday morning. In the afternoon 5 friends of Kate and Gerry were also interviewed again for 20 minutes each.

These friends were with the McCanns on the fateful night and are still in Portugal! Each of these friends said they took it in turn to visit the children, quote: "Every 10 minutes!" unquote. But the McCans said they went every 30 minutes.

The friends are Jane Tanner, Russell O'Brien, David and Fiona Payne and one other person who has not been named.

The McCanns claim that the appartment was visable from the restaurant and only 100 yards away.

The appartment building was visable but the actual appartment was not as it was on the road side of the holiday complex.

The fact that the appartment building was only 100 yards from the resuarant is true, but only as a bird flys. walking, it is nearly a quarter of a mile away from the restaurant.

Something is really beginning to stink in this stor

I dont want this to sound like a freak question but do you feel that corporal punishment in the judges qtrs under supervision should be legal? esp young adults with petty crimes. would you administer the punishment if it were legal? Iused to be one of those punks who got away with crap and I think Id think twice if it were legal. pls law enforcement only.

So yea, I guess I wasn't too clear before, but I got into the club that was for 18 and older. I never showed them an ID at all, because someone knew someone that just got us in, and because we didn't have x's on our hands, the bartenders assumed we were 21 and served us. The ABC cops gave me a ticket, and they told me all I had to do was go to the court date, and talk to the probation officer. He acted like I would get community service or something and it would be dismissed. I was just wondering if it would ALWAYS be on my record, and what kind of affect this would have on things in the future. Will future jobs find out? medical school? I just have no idea. Thank you anyone who answers!!

I was rushing home from a hard day of work about two months ago and i was going 90mph in the fastlane. I am a college student and really cant afford my insurance to go up, let alone the price of the ticket. I have learned my lesson and have not gone over 70mph since. How do i convice the judge to give me traffic school because it wasnt an option on my ticket and i really cant afford my insurance going up. please help a guy in need.

Ok so heres the deal my friend and her boyfriend they like kinda leave their relationship on the down low and her mom does not want her speaking to him at all cause she doesnt trust him or anything cause she doesnt know who he is. So i've been a good friend and i've helped her to communicate with him by 3 way calling for them or giving the other messages and what not well apparently she called the cops and they told her that its me the one thats talking to her but the thing is my number is private and isn't it against my privacy for the police to look in my calling history and stuff? If they looked at the calls she called my cell a lot more then i've called it so would it give the police any reason in looking in my calling history? It was completely both ways like i didn't constantly call her we both did it and now apparently her mom wants to press charges on me for harassing her daughter so can she really do that or is she probably just bsing me so i get scared????

It has been said that you have to have a "Brown Nose" to say thank you to the men and women of our nations police force!

Do I say thank you when I get a ticket? Hahahah! Not happy! But I made a mistake! The officer is merely up holding the law! Without speeding, or traffic laws! What would life be like on the roads!

SO! Do I say thank you! YES!!!

Do I say thank you to the men and women that serve our nation?

I am a Vietnam Era Vet! I served my country and earned the right to say thank you to all the men and women of this GREAT Nation who protect and serve!

So for you! And you know who you are!

Stop complaining! Join the force and make it better with your years of judgemental belittling!

That way you can earn the right to be a "Brown Nose" as well!

Police have the worst job in the world, they deal with some of humanities most malignate, barely human infestation ever allowed to infect society!

Policemen and woman are not Saints, Lords, or Preist!

They are everyday people like you and I, but doing a very difficult job!

From me and my family, I want to say thank you for doing what you do!

And thank your families for supporting you, because you are helping us!

Thank you
