In MS, 21 is the age of majority as far as marriage, contracting (entering into a contract), and drinking. You parents are still financially responsible for you until you are 21, unless you become an emancipated minor. For everything else it is 18.

EVERYONE who lives in the U.S. is a 'legal adult' when they turn 18. Yes, you can get your own place. Yes you can get a tattoo without your parent's permission. Yes, you can have 'sex' with anyone who is ALSO a 'legal adult'.
No, there is no 'curfew' if you are 18, unless there is a 'general curfew' for EVERYONE where you are living.
Yes, you can enroll in a college. (There is no such word as 'ownself' though ... you need to learn better English!)
You can make a will when you are 18 or older.
I don't know the 'laws' in your state or what state you will be residing in ... you must 'ask' or at least 'read the signs' outside of most bars to know the 'age' you'll need to be.
Again, the 'age' to go into an 'adult store' may vary by state.
The 'bad side' is that if you 'move out on your own' when your parents want you to live with them, if you 'hit bottom' by doing things you shouldn't they may not want you to go home again, or may put 'heavy rules' on you if they do take you back.
You MUST BE RESPONSIBLE for ALL YOUR BILLS ... rent, utilities, food, transportation, insurance, etc. YOUR PARENTS ARE NO LONGER RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU.
If you 'break a law' you will have to go to a 'real jail' and may have to do 'real prison time' for it. THINK BEFORE YOU ACT.

And PLEASE GROW UP BY THE TIME YOU TURN 18 ... right now, it seems as if the 'stuff' you want to do is all 'bad, illegal, or harmful in some way' ...

In the united states your a legal adult at the age of 18. You have to be 21 to drink alcohol besides that the answers to your questions are

You are no longer a minor at the age of 18
You can get your own place at the age of 18
you can get a tattoo without concent at the age of 18
you can have a sexual relationship with anyone 18 years and older. (some states concent at the age of 16)
There is no curfew when your 18. Unless your city imposes one for some reason
Yes you can enroll yourself into a college
You can make a will at anytime. Contact a lawyer to find out how to make it legally binding
You have to be 21 to drink alcholol
You have to be 18 to go into an adult store (some places require 21 if they have nude models dancing and there is alcohol)

At the age of 18 your a legal adult you can do whatever you want under the law. You still can not drink but you can buy ciggerettes, enroll in the army, go to college (if you have your highschool diploma or a GED)

At 18 you can register to vote and for selective service (the draft which is required for financial aid application to college if you are male.) You will not be considered a minor in most states, if not all of them so,you can enter into legal agreements that are binding. Therefore you can make a will and sign a lease IF you'll find a landlord who wants to rent to a person that young, many don't, and register for school. If you fail to pay for those binding agreements you'll fall into debt, which most people do.

You will no longer be subject to curfew laws. However, you'll be so tired from working and going to school you won't want to stay up or out late much anymore.

You can probably go to an adult book store, but you'll likely have to show I.D. You can consent to sex legally. Although my advice is to abstain until marriage, but if you must, please use a latex condom every time.

You cannot legally go to a bar. Your very presence there can lose the bar its liquor license; whether you drink or not. You have to wait until you are 21 for that vice.

I looked forward to being "grown" too. Now here I am with nothing but bills and responsibilities and no place to go except old age and death after that. Independence isn't all it is cracked up to be.

Hear me well, SOMEONE WILL ALWAYS TELL YOU WHAT TO DO AND YOU WILL HAVE TO DO IT! Usually it is a job, the IRS, the DMV, insurance companies, etc., etc. and if you have children the responsibility lasts FOREVER! I enjoyed being a mom, still do, but after 20+ years on the job you find all those silly sounding stories about not knowing who you are anymore are very true! If you are a good parent, you lose yourself in the job automatically. I'm discovering myself now and I'm both scared to death and bored as heck! I don't enjoy what I used to do. Not ready for what people expect me to do (knit and play shuffle board! LOL!)

You will always be obligated to follow rules. Enjoy your youth. Follow your parents rules. Save your money. Be respectful and move out when you are really ready, not just to have sex and feel independent. Independence lasts a long, long time.

My understanding is that since the Vietnam War, when 18-year-olds were drafted to fight, the age of adulthood became 18, throughout the United States.

The drinking age is still 21, though, everywhere, as far as I know.

For all other purposes, I understand 18 to be the age of adulthood.

Actually, the age of majority in Mississippi ~is~ 21. You cannot marry without your parent's permission if you're under 21, but you can sign a contract.
