Law Enforcement & Police - January 2007

Go check out ESPN.COM and read the article Outrages Justice! Then tell me the justice system in this country is doing it's job! How can the scum that are in the justice system be allowed to pratice law? I am 37 and I could marry and have sex with a 18 year old if I chose to with her consent but a 17 and a 15 year old can't? 24 months difference and that guy is spending 10 years in jail! Man I hope those ******* burn in hell for this!

was driving in mass returning from hardware store and stopped for cracked windshield, officer ran my name, said i had a warrent for unpaid ticket, (dispite my protests) was arrested and brought to court and let out on bond hours later, showed up next day for hearing, had my money refunded and was appoligized to by the judge, they had the records showing my lane violation was paid, called it a data entry error, it really sucked, is that all i get?

I live in AZ and am looking at getting subpeonaed for a case where I am a witness but do not and will not testify. Will they go to another state to serve me? Or can they? And how hard will they try if they do? Please, serious answers only. This is not a laughing matter to me at all. Thanks.

My fiance wants to move to Idaho to be with his family and have a chance to discharge his number. His x is phsyco and his no contact order put him back again and she showed up at our house! Go figure! Sad but true! Anyway He really needs this transfer and the state of calif says no! who can override this decision

Say a Japanese or Chinese person robs a gas station in Japan or China, and the cops get a security tape with a clear view of the robber, how the hell do they identify the suspect? 90% of Japanese people look alike and 90% of Chinese people look alike. I bet people get locked up for stuff they didnt do all of the time.

their crimes, what I want to know is why the f**k does it cost a thousand pounds a night to keep someone locked in a tiny cell for 18 hours a day with no furnishings, Maybe somebody in law enforcement can answer this question.

She was found stuffed under a bead dead in a motel room in Houston Tx.It was an accident Im sure there was 4 people .And this man shot the dope in her veins and she dropped to floor instantly they thought she was joking and all continued to take their turn .When they were finished they rememberd her on the floor than they proceeded to assist her and reliezed it was to late she was dead.Instead of calling the proper au thorities for help they paniced and hide her bodyThey stole from her only GOd knows and the one who shot her up took her car .It was not until 4 days later when one who was there called det.and she was found.They ? the man it looks like he got off easy.Dont you thik he should serve some jail time for not calling for help even if an accident Her father asked well he should be guilty of stealing her car and police said they dont know the car was stolen He said well he could not have had permission cause she is dead Search 2houston.com and see what you think about it

If you know longer get into trouble, is it still possible to pursue a career in law enforcement (i.e., police officer, sheriff, etc.)? Is there a waiting period?
