Earlier today I was pulled over for a burned out taillight and the officer tried to search my car. Obviously I refused. He proceeded to try and threaten me but he eventually backed down. Is this not the United States of America?
Also what kind of cop would you have to be to search someone without probable cause?

Last week I posted a question regarding an aqantance of mine. Who I barely speak to. She was just over and told me that she was being charged with leaving the scene of an accident. She says odds are its just a fine. Is she in for a rude awaking when she goes to court on the 7th for this charge? If you didnt read my last question there was alcohol in the car which the police never proved belonged or if in fact she had drank before driving {i personally dont know if she did or not}.They hit a patch of ice, as they spun on the ice they hit a curb then a snow bank which caused the car to flip 2 times totaling the car. Everyone got out of the car no injuries other then a bloody nose on her part. She found out today she'll get a leaving the scene charge. Is this just a ticket or is their jail time involved? Yeah Im nosey, no other cars were involved it was 17 miles outside of town, no one was around to see the accident and no one required any medical attention. We live in ND and dont say:

His probation was almost up,he kept up with his monthly visits and payments would the judge take all this into consideration when making a decision

They could not only help stop and investigate crime and police traffic etc. They could also be a big factor in drug trafficking, illegal immigration, and terrorist cells. They could also work closely with the FBI and other agencies. It would help the country in so many ways and at the same time train our military for things they may encounter in times of war.

I want to be a cop, and do not know how to answer the question of whether or not I have had any use of illegal drugs. I want to pass the polygraph, and this seems to be the one question I'm afraid of. I "attempted" to smoke, but, nothing happened. Plus it was 5 1/2 years ago. Please help me!

And harrass them. I know someone, who has, admittedly, been a bit of a pest, but his worse crime has ever been drunk and disorderly. He is an ex squaddie, suffering ptsd, and is now in rehab, but every thing that occurs, the police pull him up, even for a burgalry, committed miles away. He gets stopped in the street, when minding his own business, and locked up, only to be released, proven innocent. His solicitor is going up the wall, he needs help, not constant harrassment, he is at the end of his tether, he is trying to put his life back together, but is always being picked up, and even ridiculed by the local police, taunted, if he says something back, they arrest him. How can this be allowed to happen, and it does, beleive me, this guy is in turmoil, are you aware, that this goes on. Or do you beleive everything the police tell you, just because, they are police officers?

This week I purchased a car that is less than 2 years old. It was a private sale and I asked the seller if there was any damage or anything wrong with the car. He said NO. I have now found what seems to be a major fault with the brakes that he would have known about prior to sale. What is my recourse??

I live in B.C., my ex is in Alberta...my son is there visiting right now. I don't trust my ex or his wife. If they don't meet us return my son on the day that he is supposed to, can I have him charged. I have a feeling that he is going to come up with some sort of excuse that he can't drop him off on the day that is specified. Either that or try to avoid giving him back to me at all. I have custody, he just has access. What do I do if he does not cooperate? Please help!!! I am very worried.
