It would be different in every city or county in the entire state you are living in, more than likely. If you were ticketed by a city cop call municipal court and they will be able to answer your question. If it was a highway cop or sheriff's patrol officer, then call your county court clerk's office and they should be able to let you know.

Where I live it is $100 plus court costs; however, two counties east of here, it is $200 plus court costs. And that is through the city courts. County courts are under the jurisdiction of your state so you may be able to look up the statute number (local library should have statute books) and see what the penalties are. Good luck and don't worry, I don't think it will be too bad.

Usually around $100, but if you get the registration updated in the DMV system, they can check and let you off with a warning.
They usually give you a month after expiration to get the new one on. Take care of it right away. If you go to the DMV you can get the sticker same day.

Go get your car inspected and most likely the magistrate will hit you with a small fine and a stern warning. Figure the fine to be $100.00 or less.

well if the strictest penalties were applied, you would have to pay, the fine which wouldn't be too much and the court costs, which run around $110 on average.

if you go and get the sticker renewed and take it to court, they might throw it out or just make you pay the fine.

It depends in each state. I had one in NY years ago it was $75.00 and a suspension on my DL.
