what will the judge do?

on a second offense possesion charge while still on probation? in san diego county? at arraignment the judge said no bail and 5000.00 on new charges. then set the next date? what will happen?

Possession of what? Either way, you screwed up and more than likely, your going to jail. 7 years ago when i was 18 i was on probation for having pot and I failed a drug test, for marijuana. A week after my 18th birthday I went to jail for a month. I guess it all depends on how the judges day went too. If he seems pissed, be careful as of what you say and how you act. Jail does suck but its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, but hopefully, if your smart, it will teach u a lesson: Leave your stash at home!.

First of all you may have an extra charge to deal with now. VOP (violation of probation). If the judge did not grant you a bond you are a flight risk and chances are when you go back to court you will be sentenced unless you want to take it to trial. Depending on the regulations of your probation you also may have to serve out the remainder of your sentence for the original charge. Regardless of what you will have to serve time because you are a repeat offender.

I see two felony drug possession charges here, one with a violation of probation. (Note, violation of probation is NOT a separate crime in California.) The amount of bail would indicate to me that there is not a huge amount of dope involved. Without knowing more, I cannot give any definitive answer, but my guess would be that he is looking at some time in jail, but not prison, and another five years of probation.
