Hypothetically speaking, of course....

I can't find anything in the ATL city code that says this is illegal. That's what I'm looking for, the specific law, not hearsay or "It's probably not allowed".

Tricky one this. Technically speaking the vehicle can only be overnight stabled with driver asleep, in a lay-by or designated Motorway service area overnight rest area, or at the vehicle's home yard. You quite often see in local newspapers about a licence for operating "x" amount of vehicles and trailers from a certain address. Legislation was brought in to prevent large vehicles being parked in small residential streets overnight. Once in a while is ok, considering some drivers need to make early starts from home, or indeed if a driver reaches hours before getting to the base. I would check local bye-laws in your area via the Council Website

A policeman once told me that the easiest tickets that he writes are to people who park on the opposite side of the street for parking too far away from the curb. Your passenger side tires are to be no more than 18" from the curb.

yes because to do so you'd have to illegally drive on the wrong side of the road then do an illegal U-turn when you drive off or drive on the wrong side of the road again. Georgia drivers are funny, they don't like gettin' hit head on.

The only way you can do that is to drive on the wrong side of the road. And that;s illegal everywhere.

You are speaking of "left to the curb". I got a
ticket for that in Charlotte a long time ago.
I'm sure it is illegal all over.

You should be President fellow wrong way parker! I park backwards to! The statute provides for penalties only if the parking is without sunvisor protection. Your sterring wheel should also be adjusted minimally such as to avoid infrared detection. Good luck fellow wrong way parker.. Maybe an association of wrong way parkers!
