Stopped at my local gas station today to buy a pack of smokes. Thinking nothing of it, I parked in the handicap parking space. Keep in mind that the temp was in the teens and I was gonna be in and out. Well when I got out of my car some overweight gentleman was FURIOUS that I had parked in "his space" because I did not have the handicap sticker. This guy, after going up one side of me and down the other, even had the nerve to call the police.

I guess I just want to know what right, if any, did this person have to call the police on me? Clearly he is taking his handicap frustration out on me.

who is coming for a visit, and wants to mail some of their medication to your home in their name, so just in case their luggage or personal items ends up missing, they are sure to have their medication when they get to your house as a precautionary measure...If the package remains sealed until they arrive, is it legal to send by mail, and sit in your house till they get here.....I wouldn't want to get into trouble for it coming via us mail, so prior to the visit I am posting this in hopes of a knowing and fast answer....thanks

Ok guys: please no judgment. I'm a 23 yo who made a horrible mistake and was convicted of DUI. the PO's office and the Alcohol program are dictating that I abstain from alcohol from now until November 30th (9 months)

I work in sales--half my job is going out, drinking, socializing with clients. If I know I could be tested at any time, my career may suffer. SO:::

What's the most potent/likely test version they'll use if I'm dragged in for a random alcohol test? How long will it stay in my system?

My friend was arrested last year in the UK for drink driving. He was over the limit so was taken to the police station where he was again breathalysed but was under the limit so was de-arrested and free to go. Should he declare this to the US embassy? Would this show up on the NPC? Is the US embassy able to check for arrests themselves?

I was on probation in Ohio for felony and misdemeanors (not drug/alcohol or violent). I opted to serve the time and completed that. When released, they did a warrants check and I had NONE. Because I was no longer under supervision and had no parole, I opted to leave the state and start over. Since then, I have remained gainfully employed and out of trouble. I finally have my life back on track. My ex was pulled over and was told that I have misdemeanor warrants. He called and told me. Apparently the misdemeanor probation I was on was never run with the felony time I was serving and they put warrants out on me for violating it. In Ohio, whenever a person has felony and misdemeanor charges, the felony charges override the misdemeanors and thus MUST run concurrent with the felony sentencing. I live 2 hours away now in Kentucky. Will they come after me and can they extradite me back to Ohio for this even if I stay out of Ohio? Again these are misd. warrants. Thanks!

I got a ticket for possession of a controlled substance. (One-hitter; empty). Cannot afford atty right now. I'm considering pleading NOT GUILTY, which I'm really not (guildty). However, it was in my vehicle, tho many people had been in my vehicle over the holidays. Should I ask for a continuance and then seek advise of counsel to give me more time. First offense; I'm 55 y/o and don't need this on my record. How would I explain this to my 17 y/0 grandson??? Please advise...serious only. Attorney response would be nice.

After the generation of people who grew up in the '70s and later starts coming into power ... do you think we'll see a serious de-escalation of the war on drugs? I'm not a stoner myself but I like to know I can have a toke if I want one, and as a taxpayer and a human being I hate to see so much money, manpower, and jail time being spent on a substance that is non-addictive and no more harmful that the legal-but-sensibly-regulated alcohol & cigarettes.

I was a juvenile when I was arrested and went to juvenile hall. In the 13 years since then, I have stayed out of trouble minus one speeding ticket. I have tried to find information from a number of places to try to pull up details on my own criminal background and traffic tickets and can find none. I am also trying to see if my juvenile record was sealed, expunged, etc. Does anyone have a good website or way to go about getting this information? I appreciate all suggestions.
