That is how my best friend died. Ironically the severity of drinking and driving laws encourages that kind of thing, get caught drinking do 10 years, get caught the next day "panicked" do 6 months, pathetic

Most crimes are solved because one person doesn't think clearly enough as a result of their own emotional stress created during an event such as this.
You'd be surprised how many people start calling the police once they learn of how callous one is when they leave the scene after another is hurt.
Sad part is....after getting caught, every one I've dealt with has wished they'd done the right thing in the first place instead of compounding their problem for making such an irrational decision to start with!

Would I leave them in my windshield for three days in my garage like one Houston woman did? Naw, I will call for an ambulance immediately.
My dad actually hit a pedestrian one time and did get help for him. He was so ashamed of it afterwards that he refused to see the guy in the hospital. My mom had to go visit him. Funny the guy did not sue us. A different time I guess.

I would still be required by law to report it. If that struck pedestrian survives or is ever questioned and can remember ANYTHING, my "sins would find me out". Even if the pedestrian dies / died, his friends and family "would bark like a dog".

I know within 100% certainty I would help. I don't care if I was drunk or hi or had 25 illegal aliens in my trunk. I would gladly go to jail as long as I helped the person hurt.

Make sure the damn fool is well dead. I'd back up and run over him/her over and over till it gets as thick as a decal.
Then I'd take some pics with my cellphone cam, and email them to my snuff-loving friends for Valentine's.
I'm obviously kidding. On second thought......

I would stop, call the cops and ambulance, give first aid and stay put. I would not be able to be able to live with myself if I just drove off.

I would call 911 and do my best to help them until help arrives, then I would feel so bad that I would lose it. Any decent human being would stop and get help.
