I was a juvenile when I was arrested and went to juvenile hall. In the 13 years since then, I have stayed out of trouble minus one speeding ticket. I have tried to find information from a number of places to try to pull up details on my own criminal background and traffic tickets and can find none. I am also trying to see if my juvenile record was sealed, expunged, etc. Does anyone have a good website or way to go about getting this information? I appreciate all suggestions.

Adult convictions go to a data base maintained by the FBI...called "NCIC."

Juvenile records are not maintained there but at the state level from where the offense occurred as a juvenile. Even though they're juvenile records....and essentially closed to the public....they are still accessible by the courts!

Criminal records...despite what others have said...do NOT go away!

In a juvenile case...the records are "sealed" but, again, still a permanent record not provided to NCIC.

Adult records are also permanent but do remain within the NCIC system.

There are no internet websites you can obtain "Criminal History" from!

Best wishes!

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aND4t

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

I don't have a web site but I know that after 7 years misdemeanors are removed. If your crime was committed before you were 18 I think they clear it off even sooner. Trust me on this one I have previous experiences. I had a few rough years in my teens and early twenties for many misdemeanors.
