If you suspected that someone had done something illegal would you tell on them? And if a friend had a warrant on them would you call the police and turn them in? Why or Why not? Or do you think the police should find things out on thier own? Why or Why not?

if a person kidnaps your kid, treats them terribly, threatens the parents to kill them unless paid 2 million dollars, puts the kid in a coma, but is caught, how much could the parents sue them for and how long would they be in jail (this did not happen to me-just wondering)

My cousin stoled checks and credit cards from a very wealthy man, She was caught and thrown in prison (not only for the stolen money, also for drugs), but she still has some of the money in a bank account building interest. When she gets out of prison she will have access to this money.She brags about it constantly while in prison. There cannot be any possible way to prove that it is the stolen money, Is there?

My friend was driving and he got pulled over for DUI it was my car so they gave me a DWI allowance. I was asleep. My preliminary hearing is tomorrow...has anyone had this happen to them before?? Im freakin out cuz i dont want to have a DUI on my record...PLEASE HELP...is there anything i have to worry about or am i stressing for no reason?? Oh it was in camden county on the AC expressway.

I just read an article where the FBI stated that they could do nothing to Foley until they have evidence that is "more than just words".

My question is why are the authorities able to arrest the men on those To Catch a Predator shows (on NBC) when those men were not actually talking to minors, only adults posing as such, but Foley sends disgusting messages to actual kids and the FBI can do nothing? Perhaps someone with an understanding of the law can help me out with this one? Thanks.

I was sickened to hear of the polish girl Angelika who was murdered and today I read of 17 year old Carly Furness who was also stabbed as she walked to work.I am boiling with rage.period. why dont the people of Britain unite and demonstrate ferociously against our goverment and police to stamp out this and other violent crimes? how many more atrocities in our daily papers always with the same story lines? our MPs seem idle or lack of venom to tackle issues which the public want sorted out NOW. please dont tell me capital punishment does not work, I WANT IT BACK. people of Britain unite now and write, phone, whatever to your MP, lets try to stop another sickening attack. hang the bastards. sorry, but I am wild. how would you deal with these sick in the head low life scumbags? you can guess what I would do.

Why don't they just ban guns? Britain has been fine with our 'no gun' policy we have about 1-5 gun crimes every year. Whereas USA has numerous shooting, armed robberies and murder with guns.

Seems to me the only way to bring that level down is to ban guns.

when i was 18 years old i got arrested for using school metrocard on the subway during school vacation.
I honestly did not know about this bein against the law because at that time i newly immigrated to the usa but the cops arrested me anyway.
im now 21 years old and will graduate college in an year or two but i have a fear of not getting jobs for having a misdemeanor on my record.
does anyone have any clue about how long its gonna b on my record for?
and what kinda crime i was charged with?
will it stop me from future prospect?
is their anyway i can have it removed from my record?

I was going to make a right turn but by the time I get there the lights turns yellow then red but my front wheel are before the white line . I am not sure if the camera flash on me. How do I know will I get a ticket if I do will there be a points added to my driving record.

I know i know this was REALLY stupid but I asked the lady if it was going to go on my record, I didnt want to ask anymore questions, i was pretty embarrassed, but will I have to put this on my job applications? Im leaving to germany and im leaving to Germany with my fiance thats in the army and we are getting married in a couple of weeks, will the army say something about this? they also said that im going to pay double for what i took and some state fees and maybe penalties, does anybody know what this is and is this something to really worry about? They didnt arrest me, they said its a civil something, that I didnt need to go to court for it but will this make a criminal record? It was all about $17.00 or less.
