Misdemeanors are not put on job applications. Don't worry.

Whoa, easy Tiger! Sh*t, you can become a police officer with just a misdemeanor on your record and I'm afraid that any kind of criminal offense will be on your record for the rest of your life but still, that's no reason to worry about a misdemeanor. Just do us a favor and don't become a cop! A job application can ask if you have any felony convictions but that's all.

It depends on what State you are in. Most fare invasion or dropped to infractions. Most jobs won't hold that aganist you unless the misdemeanor was a wobbler which could be either filed a misdemeanor or a felony. With the above violation you should be fine as long as you stay out of trouble.

Hope that answered your question!

First off, if you explain to potential employers the situation I don't think a single one would think you are a delinquent. As far as removing it from your record, call the police department and ask how to get this expunged. I don't know what state you are in or what the specifics of the laws are by you. There are legal ways to take care of this though. Call around. Someone will be able to help you.

Misdemeanors don't matter when it comes to getting a job. It's the felonies you have to look out for. It's on your record forever. But because it's a misdemeanor, you really shouldn't have to worry.

All the answers above are really good. Don't sweat it. If asked, just explain it. The most important thing a potential employer would be looking for past felonies is if you will be honest. I don't think I would volunteer information, but be truthful if asked. I don't think you have a thing to worry about. Good Luck!

No you cannot get it removed from your record. But this is just a minor offence and should NOT be taken to seriously. (Well here in the Uk we wulden't take it seriously) it's called Fare Invasion but is not known to be to serious. you will have no problems getting a job if you tell them what happened and be honest with them. GOOD LUCK!!
