They don't always send the police; for example, if you miss a court date, they issue an arrest warrant but you probably won't get arrested until next time you get pulled over.

a police oficer came to my house today and the officer has droped the charge, he said i caught him in the stomach when i struggled. they saw my paper work and they said what most of you have said, they reacted the way they did in that situation. they only found out about the ADHD when we got to the station and i was searched and they found my medication. they have dropped the case and i got a caution. i realised after i carmed down what had happedend but at that moment in time i wasnt with it. thanks for everyones advice, least i know what to do if it ever happenes again, hopefully it wont DONT RESIST THEM. the redness has gone down now so thats good.

I
....sign on the main road through town, at first papers said he would get wreckless homicide and aggravated dui, and all this, but now the charges are only, accident resulting in death, which is only a class 4 felony and just a regular dui, he had just gotten out of prison 3 weeks before, and now is serving the rest of his sentenced parole, but all the charges on the court case file, says not guilty and dismissed with leave to refile, what does this mean? Does this mean that after he gets out of prison he will have to go to court on this or is this ****** gettin off scott free???
The sad thing is his brother got killed just 4 years ago by a drunk driver also! And after that his mom got into MADD and was a strong advocate for it.

my boyfriend had to spend weeks in jail because nobody could afford his bail. turns out the person that put him in jail (that he had made mad) knew someone and had him slapped with dozens of erroneous charges. then all the charges were later dropped before trial because they were not true and would not stand up in court. how can they get away with this?? he wasted weeks of his life in jail and he now has tons of legal debt.

Two weeks ago I came home drunk. Needless to say my mother wasn't happy. She was convinced that I was doing drugs because of this, which isn't true. I even had a drug test done, nothing was there. I have a job and she took the around $1000 that was in my checking account and put in some other account. She also didn't want me to hang out with those kids anymore. She likes when I hang out with my other friends, who I play golf with. So this morning I wanted a check for Ski Club at school, I have more than enough money for it but my mom was giving me a hard time about giving me the check for it, when she finally did she said all this stuff I couldn't do, and just kept yelling, so I locked myself in my room. I had already missed my bus. Then she called the police. Then while she was doing her hair I went to my car to leave for school, but she stood behind my car so I couldnt leave. Then the police came. This is where it really starts but I need more room....

My neighbor is a complete ***. At 8:00 at night he revs his motorcycle as loud as he possibly can over and over and over again! I guess it would be different if he had somewhere to go, but he just does it to make noise, then goes inside. Yesterday he did it and I had JUST layed my daughter down to sleep. After a few minutes I walked outside and asked if he could stop since my daughter was sleeping (and of course her window is on the side by HIS house), he completely ignored me! Then he started heading inside so I said "Thank you!" to which he responded "Whatever" in his deep New York accent. Is there anything I can do about this *** hole? Isn't there some kind of sound ordinance law, or does it have to be after 10 or 11 at night? Any info is greatly appreciated!
