In most states it is illegal, but it most states it is legal for an adult to carry an unloaded firearm and most of the time it must be in the trunk or at least out of arms reach of the driver. I don't know what all of these people on here about not being able to carry a firearm in a vehicle even if you are an adult. What do you think hunters do? Send their firearms in the mail ahead of time to the place they're going to hunt at? The laws vary depending on the firearm (ie shotgun, handgun, rifel, etc.). Before transporting a gun in your vehicle, you should check your local laws regarding firearms in your vehicle.

it's illegal to carry firearm anywhere (on yourself or in your car) unless you have a license. but since you're underage, i doubt you can get a license.
