ive been to court several times- but this time is different- ive been charged with disorderly house and disorderly conduct/drugs-

the police had a warrent and rushed in the house, some of the people there had weed in their pockets (2) and one threw his weed on the table, i dont smoke weed and they werent smokeing around me- but since it was my house and they busted in looking for another man that wasnt there we all got dc/drugs me n mah boyfriend both got d/house -

i have no money and though i pleaded not guilty (wouldnt let us out with out seeing the judge ) i know tomorrow will be fuhked up for lack of a better word. so has anyone had these two charges been found guilty or know what to expect-???

i know things vary from state to state i am n the atl area but any answers to give me an idea would b appreciated-

i also didnt use a court appointed attorny because you have two days from the time you are released to contact them and i didnt know that until a few days after.

I have a sign to protect my animals in case of a fire. It is stuck on w/ a magnet. It cannot fall off. Yet every day, I come home and find it thrown on the ground. I am sure it is these rowdy, screaming kids that are running around in the evenings that are doing it.

Any thoughts? If I agitate them more, they may get violent and set the place on fire or something (exactly what I am afraid of--a fire--thus, the reason for the sign). Or they may kick the door down and all my cats will run out. Help! Apt office will not help; I know this already. Police station nearby but if no proof, what can they do? Stand there all day? Surely they have better things to do. I just feel these kids will become more violent. This is a sign of worse things to come. I've seen this behavior before. It is vandalism and they are only going to get worse if it continues.

Recently I've gotten into picking a major. I want to major in law/criminal investigation and work for the CNU for the FBI. I would love to be a part of the crisis negotiation unit, but I have a question. How can somebody get into the FBI? Just submit a resume or is there some other process? I really don't want to work on a local unit unless I have to do it in order to work for the FBI. Thanks in advance for any answers!

i used to be a cop in a large city in California ~ and I have seen people shot in every part of the human body. When i reflect back on those on-job experiences, it really takes alot to just "brush-it-off" as part of the job.

If you got pulled over in the future, why would the police take you to jail if you had an unpaid Red Light Camera Ticket on your record?

The red light ticket is the only traffic violation that is civil instead of criminal, doesn't even count as points on a DMV record. They can't even be sure you got it in the mail since no steps are taken to have it signed for (which you would have to do to serve a lawsuit, you can't mail it). Are they seriously going to take a person to jail if they happened to get pulled over for something else? I highly doubt it. Has this happened to anyone?

For all of you about to scold and harrass me, i was in the intersection for 0.5 seconds - read for yourself the reports about how they shorten yellows, which increases ticketing from 20/month per intersection to over 200. Read the meeting minutes yourself on the net. You will also find, of the top 20 dangerous intersections in SD, only 2 have camaras, the other 18 are in more affluent areas.

I am a Dutchman looking for dependable poll data on the public opninion of the American people regarding the issue of more restrictive gun control laws. I did some search on Internet and found a lot of related articles, but no recent data (the latest poll I found was one by USA Weekend magazine July 4 1999). I am aware that public opinion will fluctuate quite a lot after incidents like the Columbine highschool massacre and the recent Amish killings. I assume however that there are sufficient poll data available to get a feeling on the general opinion of the American people on this important issue. Probably these data are readily available and I did not search very well until now. Who can help to find the relevant sources?

With regard to todays story about the muslim policeman asking for re-assignment,I have just seen an interview on CNN International with a member of the Black Police Officers Association. How can such an organization exist?
If there was a White Police Officers Association there would be riots in the streets.
How far can political correctness go?

Hello!
I'm considering taking a job as an armed security guard to scrape together enough cash to go back to school. I'm familiar with firearms, the different actions, and calibers. However, I wanted some more imput from everyone out there. What would you choose as your preferred sidearm as a security guard? I've ruled out the .50AE Desert Eagle due to weight and over-penetration issues so don't go there. Here is what I have given serious consideration to:
Ruger GP 101 .357 Magnum
Berestta 92f (9mm) OR 96f (.40 S&W)
Glock 17 (9mm) or 22 (.40 S&W)
some 1911-style

I thought of the wheel gun because of it's reliability and simplicity of usage, though I've shot all of the other guns mentioned here.
I'm somewhat concerned with the 9mm round though. Do you think that this is still an effective man-stopper, or should I concentrate on a .40 S&W on up? Any other suggestions welcomed. Later!

When I was going through a divorce I had to call police on my ex-husband and now the officer that responded drives past my apt. daily-and has asked me out! He really creeps me out-and I'm kind of scared of him! He also has a wife and a newborn daughter! What a man-any suggestions? I feel like he is stalking me-but I don't know if anyone would believe me if I turned him in-I'm afraid it would start trouble for me.
