Added protection from ricochet in hostile situation! BM is currently Mfr by Du Pont ! Has not been picked up by designors despite 9/11/01! and 1999 availability date! The 7mm may deflect blades and the 9mm deflects type IIIa ammo pointblank. Are we waiting for the price to go up!??!

It's wear as an undergarment even under body armor automatically decreases the element of surprise in sudden firefights on any patrol in urban situations.

ricochet or not i believe emt and fire should have body armor available to them. i am a peace officer in tx and wear it everyday. i am used to it and a believer in it. my fiancee is a paramedic who served in the warzone known as new orleans after katrina and she said more people shot at the medics than the cops because they knew that medics didnt have guns. i believe this is true in everyday life and that they should at least have them on the trucks if they dont wear them all the time.
