Ok, a friend got a dui and recieved a letter from the DMV stating his license will be suspended for 4 months. He was 21 at the time but he never received a fine or traffic school dates in the mail which I know you're supposed to receive. It's been almost 5 months now so what do you think? They dissmissed the charges but still gave him a dui?

i'm wondering if any one knows the address to the president of the united states. the town i live in is really rediculas. there are drugs in the area. and my neighbore is in to selling. we have called and turned him in. but the police act like it's no big deal. i herd the drug dealers are paying them off. they get out side and smoke there garbage in front of childern. some thing needs to be done. the police here like to set up road blocks. and pull people over on sunday morning while there on there way to church.

I bonded someone out of jail. If they run, I will owe the bail bondsman the remaining 90%. If I can't get the money and have nothing for collateral, (car, house, etc.) will I be arrested?

I got a speed ticket for going over th speed limit. 90 in a 60. This is my first ticket. I don't know what to do. Should I pay them? However, I don't want it to be on my record. The insurance rate is high enough for me already. If they know is do you know how much they would raise my rate, and for how long? What is my option? What would be the best way to have it off my record and not so expensive? This happen in Dallas, last week.

I hit a bench on my way home from dinner and was arrested for a DUI at my house after being home for about 15 minutes. I told the officer I had consumed two drinks upon returning home. I did take a breath test in the car and the officer would not show me the results. He just said I was .08 (.08 is the low end for being under the influence in Michigan) I asked several times to see the test results but he would not show them to me. At the hospital I took another blood test and it was .069 They took me to jail and I had to bond out. I am feeling like I am really getting hosed here. Was this arrrest even legal? Can a DUI arrests stand up under these circumstances? I live in a very small town.

If you are accused of a crime and get charged with $100,000 bail, why do you only have to pay $10,000? Why don't they just make the bail $10,000 and make you pay all of it?

my son went to jail for 2 days ,he has custody of his 2 kids the mother had the kids. she told the officer she needed clothes for the kids so the officer let her in my sons house and she took everthing of the kids plus the pictures off the wall,and things that aren't the kids.how can they do that
