What do you think? Are these guys stupid?? If it is the first time should they go to prison?? Is it entrapment??

It's really sad that there are so many of these guys out there, but then again....I really feel like a lot of them have done this before, so there are teenage girls playing some very dangerous games out there.
And the police....what is their deal?? They jump out of the bushes and gang tackle these dudes....for TV???
Why don't the cops just walk up and calmly arrest the guys instead of the kung fu nonsense?
I'm no lawyer, but I would think any good defense attorney could get his client released based on the entrapment (the girl they use is of legal age) and the cop abuse neatly captured on tape.
Don't get me wrong, these dudes are all of them bad news, but there's too much manufactured drama.

I wonder if it is entrapment but I know there's a very fine line. I'm sure Dateline's lawyers checked that out pretty good before they even did the first one. I think the guys who get caught on...what?...the fifth one of these are either incredibly horny, think they are so above the idiots who get caught, or just plain stupid. I mean, c'mon! Don't they have a TV?Unfortunately, there isn't enough room for all of them in prison. Maybe probation for their first offense since probably a lot of them are first timers and are "scared straight." After that, they should save the prison room and string them up by their....you can finish the rest.

I wonder if NBC is not just a little bit too obsessed with this kind of program. What is this, like the 5th show about this same subject? Makes me wonder if some NBC producer is not getting off on this stuff. I mean enough is enough, its boring by now, so I can't imagine that they are getting great ratings and the few guys they are catching are just a drop in the bucket as far as predators go. These guys are dumb predators, they need to get the smart ones cause they are the ones who are actually getting the kids. Just wondering about NBC's motive in all this...Hmmmmm...makes you think...

I think its awesome...Yes they are stupid an a lot of them go out and do it again. I can say no, it's not entrapment. They go through training on how to talk to them, what not to do or say and basically what your left with is a perv who hang his own noose..so to speak. I don't feel sorry for them...What if it was your kid or a family member....it proactive community protection
I think if you get caught once... no..after that your fair game

Not entrapment, they would have done it any way. Stupid, yes. I'm amazed they talk to the guy and then to the cops! Shut up and ask for a lawyer!

I actually dated a guy that waited until after we had our first date to tell me he was in some legal trouble for chatting on line with a girl who he claimed kept lying about her true age and messaging him to meet her even after he said he didn't think it was a good idea. Well he did go to Burger King to meet her and found himself behind bars. His wife took the kids and she said she would let him rot in jail. I was so shocked. He swore he was innocent, but I just didn't believe it and broke off the relationship. I feel if they are so hard up for sex that they would meet a 13 year old girl or guy, they get what they deserve. There are so many hoochies that would give it up for a buck and they are of legal age to do so.....why corrupt a poor minor and destroy their lives forever. Once again it all comes down to the usual.........men thinking with the wrong head!!

These guys are so disgusting they should be put in mental facility for 1st offense and put in prison with the big boys for 2nd offense. But where are the parents of the children. It makes me sick that parents just don't think these things are going to happen to their children.

Im watching it right now. These men know EXACTLY what they are doing, and deserve some serious hard time. A grown man should know right from wrong, and if he fantasizes about a young girl he is sick and twisted. I always knew there were pervs, but never knew just how many there are out there. I do like watching them make asses out of themselves though.

They are stupid! BUT I dont think it was fair that the decoy teased him to make him go if he chickened out maybe it was his conscience?! But still had it been a real situation it probably would have happened like that

How dumb can you get? Are these people so desperate that they think no one is on to them? They are sick puppies, and prison (whenever they go) will certainly "clear them up". The police? You can't trust a child!! Ask the congressman..duh
