I was pulled over by a police officer for not obeying traffic signal in Oregon. The officer was exceptionally rude to me. So as I was sitting in my car, I started recording our conversations. He somehow figured it out and got pissed off at me, told me that I don't have the right to record him. It's a violation of Oregon laws. I told him that I was not recording; I was recording my part of the conversation since the device was sitting on the passenger seat. Is he right? Can I use the recording as part of this case? Please remember, I'm in Oregon, I was inside my car and the voice recorder was sitting on the passenger side seat.

Currently as it stands, most police departments have a policy that states that police officers can taser a citizen for just doing nothing wrong but disobeying an order. Critics are mad because more than 200 citizens have died after being tasered by the police. Many citizens want a taser policy that says tasers can only be used in deadly situations.

I think maybe about 30% are smart and 70% are stupid, but I don't really have any evidence to back that up. What do you think?

I went to get my drivers licsense renewed and they informed me I had an outstanding ticket in a certain vehicle at a certain time. The problem is that I have never owned that type of vehicle, nor driven one. Now they are telling me I have to pay this huge fine and pay to get it reinstated in a state I don't even live in anymore. Can anyone give me any advice?
