Scotland, under the Devolution Bill rought in by Labour, have power over their own Social Jurisdiction, ie they run their own country.
However, this only applies to Social Matter,s such as Health and Education. Tax is still controlled by England, as is Defence, Homeland Security, Foreign Policy and Domestic/International trade.
Its a trade-off, they have control over their issues, WE still control the important, nation-wide matters.
Wales on the other hand has minor powers of control ,but not as many as Scotland. This is however going to change over later years

Proscunio, its the WEST Lothian problem..and thats to do with Scottish and Welsh MP's voting in Parliament on English domestic issues, which is different to WHY the laws only apply to us and the Welsh
