Seriously, if you're knowingly buying stolen property, or can reasonably infer (like the examples above) that something has been stolen, you're contributing to crime.
That's going to jail for receiving.

more likely than not it means, in texas, you are in posession of stolen property. depending on the value of the item it can be either a misdemeanor or a felony; however you might be able to get out of it if you can prove to the prosecuting attorney that you didnt know it was stolen when you bought it or received it. If you take something from someone who stole it and you knew it was a stolen item you are just as guilty as the person who stole it.
