anyone who has the capability to love and show forgiveness in their hearts, like they have shown is an inspiration to us all as humans, regardless of their affiliation. But they are known for their simplicity of life and when you get down to it, forgiveness is something we all need to work on instead of revenge and blame.

I would say yes. But I would not expect anything less than that from a sect that has nothing but forgiveness and love in their heart for other ppl in general. It breaks my heart to hear that they burried those 2 sisters together I am glad they did that . They will remain forever together in heaven . Amen. The one family ,that had the only girl after 7 boys , i think it shall be harder on them now , I pray for them everyday. Amen to those amish they are a truly gracefull and peacefull sect of ppl.

I have to say i know this guy that grow up in the amish community, but moved away. he is really the nicest craring, forgive man. I give them alot of credit, but in the same sense they proably feel better forgiving, then holding a nasty grudge. think about it when u get in to an arugement with someone and you get all aggravated and it ruins the rest of your day, next time, think whatever i'm not gonna let it bother me, whatch how different you feel.

honestly i don't think they should have the right to speak up to the public. not being prejudicial but they are governed by their own rules and laws, they are not made to pay social security,,,, etc.....

they don't believe in tv so ofcourse they're not going to speak up in public. so to answer your question no they are not an inspiration. i'm pretty sure they have their own ideas we don't know, if the parents of those girls could they would steal the killers body from the morgue and do whatever they could to it.
not to say the killer wouldn't deserve it.
