Call whatever agency that you think the warrant may have been issued from and ask. Some agencies have a policy of not giving that information out over the phone, in that case you will just have to go in and ask. They may ask to see a photo ID. If you are wondering about a man that you are dating or wanting to date or you just have questions or concerns about him, go to your local law enforcement agency and ask an officer if they know this person or have had any contact with him. They could probably give you a more honest answer then his friends or family would or could.
If you think that you may have a warrant issued on you, take care of it as soon as possible. You could be a passenger in a vehicle that gets pulled over and be ID'd and even though you were just sitting there, if you come back hot, you're going to jail. There is no worse end to a date then handcuffs and a ride in the back of a patrol car.

In my agency, we cannot give out any information over the phone. You must come down to the station. If it's for yourself, I suggest bringing bail/bond money with you. You normally have to pay 10% of the bail amount. If it's a traffic violation (minor) or other misdemeanor, usually $100-$200 USD will be sufficient. It's best to take care of it yourself, rather than be served and possibly arrested somewhere inopportune. If you are inquiring for a friend, we normally do not give that information, it's considered an invasion of privacy. That is my agency, not sure how others would handle it, if the same.

Call the sheriff's department.
If you're asking about a guy, why date a guy with a record? They are creeps and losers.
