If she turns herself in, she may get off paying restitution and serving probation. If she is pulled over for another traffic violation, she will be arrested on the warrant and the prosecutor will not be as generous.

Convince her to turn herself in. Nothing good will come from waiting it out. Contact an attorney to find out specifics relating to her punishment. If she won't turn herself in, do it for her. If she can write the bad checks, then she should pay the price.

she should contact a lawyer-from legal aid if $ is an issue- and make arrangements to turn herself in. the longer she waits the worse it will be. She does not want this hanging over her head because if something were to happen to her-car wreck or even a traffic stop she is toast!

Pay the friggin checks, and the case goes away. And let her know that it better not happen again, cause you won't be there the next time. Plus, she should turn herself in, because they will bust in your house at 3 a.m.

She is going to jail. No matter when you take her. The only difference will be the price. The longer she waits, the more it will be, and the less apt the Judge will be to be kinder since the amount is small.

Putting this off won't make it any better.

She should hire an attorney.

Now.
