Ed i don't know how to do any of that fancy stuff,but i had three of them I'm looking at it now,it is not a license it is a permit,it's good for one year from issue date,you need passport photo on the second page it list all the countries you can drive in,cost is $12,i got all of mine at the AAA, or triple A,you still need a state issue drivers license,any other questions i can help with e-mail me,kman1830.

An international driver license is not really a license in and of itself. It is intended to translate basic information from your driver license to various other languages. It is not valid on its face without a valid driver license issued by a governmental agency accompanying it.

to secure an internatioanl driving previledge you must ahve a valid operators license provide 2 passoprt pictures pay 30 USD(IN USA) and it will be valid for driving outside the continantal US and in other countries that honor it for the duration of your stamped visa not every country honors them china is one of them
