Im leaving to germany and im leaving to Germany with my fiance thats in the army and we are getting married in a couple of weeks, will the army say something about this? they also said that im going to pay double for what i took and some state fees and maybe penalties, does anybody know what this is and is this something to really worry about?

For legal questions like this, it's always a good practice to invest in a lawyer and get a professional answer. The laws for your specific situation may vary, and there might be a way you could make reparations and possibly avoid prosecution.

If this is your first offense then you can ask the judge to expunge your record after you serve whatever sentence he imposes. You are probably charged with a misdemeanor and most applications only ask if you have been convicted of a felony. A misdemeanor should not cause any problem with going to Germany, but make sure you never do something like this again because each time it gets worse.

It depends on value of the merchandise. Under $50 is usually a Class C. Its generally not reported to other outside agencies such as State or Federal Law Enforcement. If its your first offense, you can ask the judge for Deferred Adjudication and probably get it. You will pay a small fine and cannot get into anymore trouble for 6 months to a year, then it will be completely off your record.

How many other times have you been caught.

Shoplifting is generally going to be a misdemeanor crime. In FL you can serve 1 year and a day in Florida prison. More than likely you may have probation and a fine.

If they ask the question then you'd have to put it down.

If it's a first offense you may try to get it expunged. It'll cost you though.

Schools right here in Texas make the error of interfering in regulation enforcement generally. If you had been stuck with a managed substance, and also you had been dispensing it, you need to need to pass earlier than the courtroom. You might most of the time get probation, the primary time. You are gambling with hearth, you understand.

if they prosecute: court fees, fine imposed by judge, and a slap on the wrist

it will go on your criminal record, it should not impact your move to germany. if your husband to-be needs to get a security clearance, it may come up, but shouldn't be a big issue.

was you arrested..........took to jail and finger printed..........if this is the case then you will have a record period regardless of the smallness of the crime.

You MUST tell your fiance as yes this cold cause him some problems re the military............and of course the last thing you want to do is be arrested on your return to the USA..........

Need a bit more info as what happened when you got caught please
