Law Enforcement & Police - October 2006

I was driving through a tiny corner of Arizona and ended up getting a speeding ticket - my only one ever. Now the Moccasin Justice Court keeps sending me things in the mail talking about how much trouble i'm in. The only thing is that I don't live in Arizona, and rarely ever go there, if ever. Do they have any legal jurisdiction in the state of California? Could this misdemeanor become a federal case?

I teach in a NYC PUBLIC SCHOOL

As you know, there has been a school shooting every other week this month (including the Amish schoolhouse and the one's in Canada).

I've decided, I'm not going to get caught out there.

what is a good body armor and pistol combination that I can buy?

I need body armor that's light and can stand up to both knife attacks and at least 9mm rounds.

I also need a good suggestion for a small concealable pistol - probably in 9mm or .45 cal - something that has enough stopping power to put a 175 pound student out of commission.

Is there a body armor type that won't show through a typical collarless shirt?

I ask because in Minnesota we have it gives cops the legal means to pull a person over without the presence of a moving violation. Pretty much there white plates with WX on the plate. Everybody know around here it means automatic pullover with no reason by the police since you been convicted of drunk drving.

A friend was arrested In Auburn Wa. last friday night and she dosent know why she was arrested and now she has allready been released. She was in there from Friday night untill Monday evening with out ever knowing why!! where do I go to find out why and where and who arrested her?

My daughter (18) got a job at a car lot, the owner sexually harrassed her on several occasions. After rebuffing him, he told her she was fired. How do you feel about people who can come in and feel something from a case and give you some clues? Would you turn to someone like that if you were having a hard time getting anywhere in a case?. It is not possible to sit three children comfortably and safely in three bumber seats in a row on the backseat of a small saloon. The time taken to get all the seats fastened because of lack of space for the fittings and the time taken to unlock them all in emergency is a factor the originators of the law cannot have considered. Some parents will be considering upsizing from the Hyundi Atoz or Suzuki Ignis to a wider vehicle.

some cars come stock(standard) with tinting that is darker than the law allows.

i have herd that as long as the tinting came like that from the dealer(not a used car) than you're safe from the law.

is this true??
and if so than why do they get to slide just because a company tinted it insted of a person???
