Yesterday, I managed to run out of gas. Walking along the highway to the gas station I found a womans pocket-book (purse) with all her info in it and credit cards, etc... So, I did what any good American would do... I picked it up, nosed through it, and then brought it on home with me and called the police to turn it in. Well well well, did I hear it from neighbors and friends. Telling me I should have left it there and telling me that I shouldn't have got involved. Telling me the state is going to accuse me of stealing it, etc... What do you think? Shouldn't people still try to help each other and do the right thing? I refuse to give up on this world just yet!

Afganistan and Iraq had been conquered, invaded and colonized by the US and it's allied in last Gulf Wars without the authority of the UN for being suspected of supporting Al-Qaida without proof and being suspected of possesing of WMD which were all found to be false. In United Nations membership, who punish these aggreesors countries like US if she violated laws and regulations of UN? I had found out that the US had been accrued of billions of debt from UN for not paying her regular dues a long time ago? Why the US can't be suspened as a member? Is she ruled the UN and entire universe? This is an Irony for the world allowing a nation to grab, rape, colonize, invade other nations without sanctioning?

Here's what happened well, this is all the info my sister in-law has given us. My Nephew went to school today, the school called cps which then called her and had her meet cps at the Dr's office to have him evaluated. CPS then kept him and took him to a foster home. They were questioning his scratches and scars that he has all over his body. Now he does have eczema and had chicken pock last year and he does have alot of scars but we all (in-law side) live in Texas while they live in Colorado so I can't say for sure if there are anyother scaring but anyways. CPS said that since all family lives out side of the state they couldn't place him in our care. My brother, his father is in the Air Force and has been over seas for 7 months. Our side of the family is just trying to get as much info on this as we can and they won't give us any and we don't know if she's telling us everything. Since they took him into custody wouldn't they have arrested her or pressed charges? Why is she free?

Well, I was flagged down by what appeard to be a podestrian. So i pulled over. He asked me for my lisence, and he looked like Law Inforcement. So i gabbed my ID. He identified himself as an undercover cop. He told me that he had a problem with me "gaining speed when the light turned green". Ill admit i did press the gas peddle to the metal, but stayed under 40mph . My Lisence is also provisional, so i cannot transport people under the age of 20. I was transporting 3 teenagers.

basically to cut to the point, can he pull me over without propable cause? The speed limit was 40mph, and i didn nto exceed those speed limits. Sure, i was breaking the law of transporting teenagers, but pulling me over he could not tell that i was transporting anybody

Okay so everyone says he is guilty but the guy already does not want to admit to it. For everyone's information his fingerprints are not on there. What some of you might not understand is how can he go about doing that, the guy got away with it and he knows its his but since he knows that the person in ownership of the car will most likely get the blame that's what he's done. The lawyer told him to plead guilty and he was pressured by the lawyer. It was underneath his friends seat and only his friend's fingerprints. I just ask anyone to help not give negative feedback like he was silly of making that decesion. He knows he not guilty its just I don't understand how his friend got away with it when his friend has a case for holding down drugs a couple of months before it happend. I ask for a positive feedback an answer that is actully worth reading and understanding.

I am a male 5'6/190 lbs. (very muscular) and am training to be a police officer. I am probably the shortest cadet in the academy by at least 2 inches. I was just wondering how many people feel that they don't take police officers as seriously if they are shorter. Most people would probably say height does not matter, however this is usually coming from people that are taller. I am not really talking about phsyically because I have martial arts/boxing/wrestling training and have yet to be taken down by a single cadet in our arresting exercise. Was wondering more about the mental factor.... I personally have even caught myself listening more to the cop that is 6'5''ish than the one other cop that is 5'8''ish...I only ask because I am curious if anyone feels that this will effect my career in anyway.

My boyfriend went to pick a friend up from a park where the friend played basketball at. As soon as he got there within 2 mins the police pulled them over. They firsked him for search and then started to search the rest of his car without a warrant. My boyfriend never consented for them to search his car he even told him they couldn't search his car without a warrant and they still did it anyway. Unfortunatly his so called "friend" put a package of cocaine underneath my boyfriend's passenger's seat. Since it was my boyfriend car and the friend pleaded not guilty but boyfriend felt he had to choice but to plead guilty before the court tries to find him guilt and punish him more for it. Is there any way or how can he fight this case. Can he say it was illegal and why, and what statements do we use.

that the 9/11 hijackers came into the USA through Canada? if you believe that then you are being scammed by your government into believing there is a danger where there is none and never has been. that's a fact.

I mean something like explicit pornography, torture, flagrantly racist images, etc...? I am NOT a racist, pornographer, sadist, etc., none of that, I'd just like to know if this would entice legal action of any sort against me, and if so, what punishment I'd be facing if I do choose to do so.
By projecting I mean thru the use of a projector, thus, not actually damaging any building, as would be spray painting it, etc. I wouldn't want to damage anything as beautiful as really old buildings, and I think the whole projection idea would circumvent anty vandalism to public buildings charges or whatever.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

A local movie store had a shoplifter. The movie cases that were involved in the shoplifting were sent to the local police department for fingerprinting. The sherriff's department later called the manager and told her that her fingerprints came back in the system with worthless check warrents. Several other customers also came back with outstanding warrents. These customers were not involved with the shoplifting, but still are paying the price for this shoplifter. Can the police department and sherriff's department use these fingerprints to act on these warrents?

Yes,I can agree to some of this, but the cop had spotted me in town at a service station. He went on down the road and 3 4 miles later he was on my tail, I was doing 50 at that time. He pulled the gun after he told me to pull the stuff out of my back pack, this was before my friend came back, the traffic was heavy. Cars on the other side were passing me and the cop and yes, I went faster, not knowing what he was doing. He turned on his blue lights and then shined the spot light as if I was going to run. I had to get to the right to pull over with out getting hit from other vehicle. He told me to reach in my back pack and I did as I was told, only to get a gun pulled on me. He calmed down when my friend show up after he hollered for him to stop and he did. The friend told him he was behind me to keep the out of town traffic off my tail.

this girl was staying with me, and I loaned her some money, as well as gave her 50.00 from a coworker to pick some stuff up for him, and well...she's stayed with me for nearly 3 weeks, and has eaten my food, used my minutes on my cell phone, borrowed change, ect...and I still haven't seen not only any rent money, but not even the money that she borrowed from me, OR my coworkers 50.00. I've made her leave, and changed the locks, because she took my house key without my permission as well. So, she wants to come back tonight for her stuff. She has no established residency here, she's not on the lease, or receiving mail or anything here, so do I HAVE to give her stuff back to her? I also have a paper signed by her, stating that she owes me money. I'm afraid if I tell her she can't have her stuff, she's gonna bring the police, but if I tell the police she doesn't live here, just staying here for a little while, and show them the paper she signed, will they make me give her stuff back?

Tanks for all the response. I live in Tennessee. I was going mybe 50 mph in a 45 mile zone. I did speed up because I didn't want to get hit. I have no DUI's and as I wa waiting for my friend to catch up with me at a ervice station, he went by on a slow street and looked at me. My friend and I didn't think anything as we were getting off from work. He got in between my fried's car and me and we went down for almost 2 miles before he pulled me over. I had ost my billfld a couple of days before, so h got me for no drivers licence. He also pulled a gun on me after he toldme to reach down in my backpack and pull everything out. He said I was going 53 after he got behind me, but wrot on my ticket I was doing 57 miles. My friend stop and came back and he started hollering at him. He was a young cop and I plan to go tocourt over this. I was just wondering if there way a name for this kind of behavior of following too close. Thank yo all.
