I was choked, and slammed against the counter, have pictures of all the injuries, but no witness. How do I make these charges stick? I have a major back injury due to this and have not MET with my prosecuting attorney, only talked with the victims advocate. We may be at impass . Do I have a case for trial?

My girlfriends parents are jehovahs witnesses and would not except me for who I am. They dont want me dating their daughter so they placed a restraining on me. She is currently 17 and still loves me. When she is 18 I would think she has every right to remove the order

Many years ago I worked as a correctional officer in Louisiana and occasionally I was stopped for speeding (less than 10 miles over speed limit) and when the officer found out that I was a correctional officer I was advised to slow down and be careful. I now work as a correctional officer in North Carolina and although I have not been stopped for speeding here, I have been told by co-workers that correctional officers were not allowed any special considerations. What are the views of your department?

This is my first speeding ticket ever in MA and due to mis-mailing to wrong address etc, it is almost 1 yr now since it was issued. Do you think the cop is going to show up to the hearing? This was a totally inadvertent speeding. Was passing in the left lane and didn't realize the speed hiking up so much! Soon as I saw the speed I was going at, I started slowing down but the cop showed up in an unidentified car behind me. Would it be worth it to tell the truth? Any pointers would be appreciated.

I have a juvenile DUI warrant for not showing up to court. The judge gave me a year probation for drinking underage and got away with a couple of fines. The case was closed but i never showed up for the routine monthly check-in to see how everything was going with my probation and stuff. I called the court and they said i had a warrant and plus im violating probation because i stopped seeing my probation officer because she said if i come to see her she has to arrest me for having a warrant with the court, so she said to settle that and come back to her. OKAY, now the problem is i have to go to Washington DC to attend a funeral and afraid that something might happen at the airport like getting arrested. Im really scared but i really have to go. Am i going to get arrested? Will the airport see warrants and violation of probation? Am i worring too much? DO PEOPLE GET ARRESTED AT THE AIRPORT FOR A MISDEMEANOR WARRANT?

I live in Iowa, and I recently got a parking ticket. I turned 16 last February, so my license is still under a probationary period. I know that if I get any moving violations, it will reset my year probationary period and I'll have to wait another year to get my full license. Will the parking ticket reset my year period, or won't it affect it?

Upon applying (self),the worker informed me that i had other people listed in my household and they were approved..I have no knowledge of the people! I was told they would be removed from the list..but the person stated they were my boyfriend and had just gotten out of PRISON so had no resources.. I want to follow up on this..and not sure how. It seems to me that this would be a case of FRAUD and the penalty should be deeper than being removed.

i was arrested on sept 4th for a dwi 3 i was in a wreck where i dogdged a car coming towrds me in my lane hit a guardrail then a few seconds later a car came down the hill and hit me in the back... well no charges were given to me at the wreck but when i was on the x-ray table at the hospital. the dps officer came in and asked me to take a breath and blood testl i refused, then he said he wouldnt make me do a field sobreity test because of my condition of my wreck so i signed a paper saying that i refused he told me he wasnt going to arrest me and take me to jail that night but he would be putting a warrent out to this day no warrent yet. but the accident rpt has me down 4 a dwi3 i have hired a attorney i was heading home from work that night and i have ppl at working willing to testify i was at work and from work till the wreck happened was about 40 mins tops. i wasnt drinking i should have taken the test but i was all shook up didnt wanna do anything what do u think my chances are
