As long as Missouri is actively seeking extradition through the courts, John will not be allowed to bail out in Florida. He can either waive his extradition hearing and go back to Missouri willingly, or he can fight it and spend a while in jail while the court process is going on. And the vast majority of the time, extradition will be granted.

Then he will end up back in Missouri, and bail may be a factor there. However, considering they already had to go to Florida to get him once, there is a good chance that he will be held without bail until trial. He could be considered a flight risk.

So basically, he will be held in Florida until he is either sent back to Missouri, or until Missouri decides it's not worth the cost/effort to keep trying to bring him back.

I've never seen a state "give up" their extradition attempts once it's started. If they haven't started the process, it's possible. But after that, it's gonna go until it's finished.

i was extradited from a Commonwealth state to the state of Wisconsin. during my time in the other state i was bunked up with a person who was going through extradition procedures he was trying to fight it. most only will extradite for a felony but lets say it is not considered a felony in that state.
well anyways what happened was the state i was in only gave that state who wanted him 10 day to come and get him after the judge finding that he will be extradited. It was at 11:55 a Monday night that that state let a convicted child molster free to room there streets because the state of maine faild to pick him up in the 10 days......

felony warrant they will extradite him back as someone already mentioned long journey have him /her waive extradition so it will be lot quicker to get back to Missouri the Feds might put a hold on him too for flight to avoid prosecution so the 10 day period will be waived
