You will be paying higher insurance premiums for years. I'd check to see how much it will affect you.
A court battle would be costly and chancy.

More than likely, you will receive a fine. You might even be asked to attend alcohol education classes. If you feel that this is extreme, then fight it. I didn't, and I have yet to have it affect me in the future.
I think it happens often in college. A college town may not hold much weight with it. I would pay the fine, attend the sessions (if mandated), and move on with life.
