ok, I guess it is a pretty broad question. what I'm talking about is the sudden massive military and defence presence building up along what is suposedly the world's longest undefended border.
when has any threat ever come to the USA through Canada? it seems like a ridiculous waste of money and troops to station them adjacent to places like Saskatchewan and New Brunswick.

The US is sorting out how to get Canadian resources for cheap. Except the US Administration has cause the dollar to tumble so that it is now worth not much more than the Canadian.

They will do anything to put Canada in the place it was in before the Bush Administration took over in 2000, but it's a lot harder now.

Brooooooooad question. Could you clarify? Be more specific? Did you have a difficult time with some particular Americans???

I think that since terrorists managed to fly planes into buildings in NYC and Wash. D.C, and they carried it off so "well" and so undetected, I think that is why the alertness has gone up.

It's not a fear of Canada... it's a new alertness to where and how other terrorist types might try to slip in, say, by using Canada's long-time unprotected border.

The "troops" being stationed on the border of Saskatchewan turns out to be a few dozen bored and cold Border Patrolmen.

Hi jamesi,

Considering Canada is going to legalize marijuana for medical purposes. USA-has been fighting the drugs wars for as long as I can remember probably even longer. So now the government needs to provide guards to stop the drugs from coming into the USA. Have a good day!

I don't even see how to begin answering this question. There is no inherent fear in the USA towards Canada. Canada and USA have a relatively stable relationship politically. Although there are quite a number of anti-canada people out there, they are in the minority. Most Americans ignore Canda, or are completely neutral towards it. The US does not have any fear of Canada.

You need to elaborate dude. I can't think of a single reason the U.S. should be a afraid of Canada, and I'm Canadian. Unfortunately, Canada is slowly becoming Americanized, and that is a tragedy. Eventually, after global warming has greatly altered our global environment, I fear there my be a mass migration of Americans to Canada to escape the impending heat and hurricanes from the south. The sad thing is, there will be virtually nothing Canada can do about it.

Not affraid.....just wary. Our friendly neighbors to the north????.....I dont think so!!
Canada is preparing an invasion!!
FACTS:
*There is no physical border to stop the Godless horde!
*They are massing at the border...98% of the Canadian population lives within 100 miles of our borders!
*It's cold there...thats enough reason right there!
*Our women are far better looking!

The list goes on and I am ready for the invasion!!!!

GOD BLESS THE USA!!!

Because Canada won't enforce border policies in place, and the 9/11 hijackers knew that when they crossed into the US prior to them killing 3000 innocent Americans.
