You do not need a sample letter to correspond in accepting an allegation of speeding or for denying knowledge of the alleged offence. You will be required to complete the information document relative to the alleged 'speeding' offence, declaring who was driving your vehicle at the time. If you elect to deny the offence you will indicate that fact which will almost certainly result in you having to present your case in a Court of law - or, you may wish to engage the services of Solicitor to act on your behalf.

don`t ask me about speeding tickets - I`ve just been done for going 2 mile an hour over the accepted limit on a dual-carriageway, my licence had been clean for 20 years I now have 3 points and a £60 fine.

You are fooling yourself... Writing the judge and having your FINE reduced will not prevent your insurance from going up. Your Insurance company doesnt care if you got fined $2 or $200 - they only care that you were caught speeding. Your insurance will go up regardless. Unless you can get out of the ticket.... Feel free to write me and let me know the circumstances of the ticket, and I will see if I can help....
