When your approaching a school zone and your traveling the speed limit, say 40 mph and you need to slow to 20. Is there a specific law stating you must be going 20 mph when you cross the line/sign that says school zone, or can you slow down as you enter. (In my case, I started slowing down just before I entered the zone and the officer clocked me at 33mph just as my front bumper crossed the line, but not joking, was hitting twenty, as in he clocked me as I was hitting my brakes. By the time my entire car had entered the desired line, I was travelling at 20 mph, yet he still pulled me over.)

I have recieved two speeding tickets and both times they put wrong info on the ticket. The first time they just put the color of my car wrong. The second time these things were written wrong:
~State my of my license plate
~Number of doors on my car
~Last name
~SSN
~Color of my car

When I went to pay it the woman was rude as hell and when I tried to tell her the info on the ticket was wrong she said "That doesnt mean you dont have to pay it" and walked across the room to the computer. She never found me in the system and said I must be at the wrong place, maybe it was a sheriff and not a city cop that gave it to me. When I mentioned it to someone else with both of the tickets someone told me "sounds like they were having a bad day". My nephew is 4 and on a bad day he can still count how many doors my car has, tell me what color it is and correctly copy numbers and letters. Does this happen a lot?

My cat was lost and was picked up by animal control and put in a cage with 2 other male cats and my cat is a female.

Ever since I got her home shes acted weird so I took my cat to a pet phychic and she told me that my cat pepper is mad and depressed because while she was in the cage at the pound she was raped by the 2 cats in her cell.

My cat has not been the same. I dont know what to do. Do me and Pepper have any legal recourse?

When becoming a cop, what are some of the questions they ask you on the test?

The reson im asking is because, i want to become a cop.

And about 4 years ago, i sold a little bit of weed. Will they ask me on the test if i ever sold drugs? if not, what else do they ask you?

thanks ahead for any comments!

I am doing a homework assignment about the effects of lying to a police officer. If anyone knows the penalties, or any other information for the state of Minnesota and you could help me out, that would be great.

I may be paranoid, but I think the police in our town are out to get us! They've never been very friendly and I even saw them listed on an Internet site involving police harrassment. They restrained my spouse after a seizure with handcuffs (& now has severe nerve damage) We have mentioned suing but not to them). Now they refused to respond to a 911 call on Sat. On Sun. my spouse was in a huge car crash. Though our car was broadsided by the other car and hurled 30 feet onto its side, (the small car that hit it MUST have been speeding!), they refused to give us info about the driver or anything 'til the next day, produced 3 witnesses who were nowhere in sight, AFTER charging my spouse with "failing to yield"! We've already been turned down by 3 lawyers regarding suing the cops for the handcuff case, so we wonder where to turn, legally and wonder if they are treating us like this because they think we're about to sue. Also, if we DO, whom do we turn to if the COPS are harrassing us?!

I know prisoners aren't supposed to have sex, but they do anyway right? So, why won't the officials just let them have condoms?

Well, I went to the police and reported my husband's assult on my teenager. My grandson is 17 and lives with me because of family problems. They wanted to know everything that happened, and they were very through about it. Then they said that if there were any other previous issues, I had to tell them, so I told them the truth, that I had told my family my husband was dead when he was really in jail and I Didn't know why he had attacked my son so violently. The man said that if I wasn't careful, I could have charges pressed against me!

THEN HE TOLD ME THAT HE HAD THE RIGHT TO REVOKE MY CUSTODETY PRIVILAGES! I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO STAND THERE WELL HE ATTACKED HIM, I COUDLN'T GET away, it happened to fast!

what should i do!!!!!
