my son was hit by a car while he was riding his quad,there is a witness or two that seen it all. the driver of the car was total at fault. the deputy that was on scene gave me a case # that had no info when I looked for it online(4 day after) and the sheriffs dept. wants 5 dollars to send or ever look at the case online. what should Ido???

For most towns very little is put online, your son should be able to go down to the PD station and get a copy.
Most places let the person invovled to get a copy free, but some places do charge for the copy

send the $5. the report online, on the public sites-will not contain all of the information.
