My radar detector works excellent picking up KA bands before I can even see the cop but i'm always so scared of lazers. How common are they for law enforcment to use? Is it only highway patrol? Are they very expensive compared to a common radar gun? Unfortunetly there is no lazer detectors and by the time your radar detector goes off its way too late. So how common are lazers?

He was subjected to all kinds of demeaning tests locked in a cell for three days , had all his clothes and possessions taken away from him, proded poked and photographed.
Then was told the accusing girl had an argument with her boyfriend and fabricated the whole storey.
Now he feels he has been raped by four police officers and there is nothing he can do about it ! Its really changed him.
He was a stong confident man who has been destroyed by a pathetic attention seeking girl who he had never seen and still doesnt know her name or what she looks like! By the way she didnt even get a fine , let alone a sentence.

A few years have past now and the girl has probably forgotten about it , while my friend still suffers.

At the time no one was interested in helping him, is there anything he can do now?

There are a lot of deserted and creepy roads where i'm from, and one of my biggest fears is getting stranded at night. I don't know next to anything about cars...so if stranded, could I call the police to come and help me? I think I will invest in Road Side Assistance eventually...but what about when waiting on them to come? I've dealt with them before, and places like Triple A take FOREVER.

in countries like INDIA, it is a hell to seek justice.the whole legal system is rotten.if it is true that "justice delayed is justice denied" then there is no justice in such countries at all because the court cases go on lingering for decades.policemen, court clerks, vaqils and even some times judges, all are after money only.they harass the people who approach them for justice.can not we sue such legal systems or governments, who has failed in providing justice to common people?

Let's say a business is getting raided for selling narcotics. Does the owner always get arrested? Or just the people doing the selling? What if the owner(s) have a drug history? What about the homes of the owners? Do they raid the homes as well?

I know this is kind of drama but one day I was picking up my son and a baby-sitter and saw the 16 year old sister of my boyfriends psychotic ex girlfriend and an unknown male walking up to me. They tried to take a pic The girl eventually began hitting me, and the male she was with held me down. I am 22 so what was I supposed to do? I defended myself only as I needed to but ended up giving her a bloody nose. This 16 year old called the police on ME and claimed I had followed her and attacked her. I had also called the police but they ended up talking to her first and cited me for assault 4 and harrassment. I took it to court and luckily my baby-sitter had managed to capture part of the incident on her camera phone. The judge found me not guilty of assualt after all the testimonies but guilty of harrassment. Do you think this is fair or right? I truthfully did not follow or hit the girl first and the girl had no evidence proving i did. I have neven be into touble at all before this.
