The law will determine on how many years will be meted on your boyfriend depending on the circumstances and nature of the offense that he has committed.

I think it depends on what the arrest warrant was for and what the terms of his probation were.

Also have to consider that he was on probation for some other crime he committed. That probation could be revoked and he could serve a sentence for the original crime as well as any new charges..

It's time for you to move on and find another boy friend. If this one went to jail for drugs or hanging with those that do drugs then you don't want him for a keeper.

Sw8hart, i have to say this, DRUGS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE irrespective of whether you're selling them or taking, he deserves to be in jail if he had some on him & if he didn't then his bad, he just was in the wrong place @ the wrong time. & no one derserves to wait around for him if he was wrong, if you are serious about him, which you probably are cos you are contemplating waiting for him, think again cos you don't want him to a role model to your children, sorry for laying it all on you, but i think no girl deserves that, we're too good for drugs.

he may be violated on his probation, the length of his original sentence could be enforced, and any additional charges may make a big difference
