Not if you weren't breaking any laws. But unless you know every State and City oridinance relating to traffic law, then you may not even know you have a reason to be pulled over.
No Front Plate
No License Plate Light
No Tail Light
No Brake Light
Didn't signal properly
Excessive Exhaust
Loud Muffler
You match the description of an ATL (attempt to locate)
You pulled out of a known drug house with a known drug user in the car. (this one is a bit tricky)
You see what I mean

Yes, its called an investigative stop. However, if he pulls you over and asks you a few questions and see a pound of pot on your seat, he can take it and maybe arrest you. But your attorney is going to have it thrown out becuase the cop didnt have probable cause to pull you over which led to the finding of the drugs. If he pulls you over you are not in custudy and are free to leave once you know you havent broken any laws. I wouldnt suggest just leaving though. Chances are great he can find something to write you on. Most cops are way to busy to pull over someone for no reason though. Maybe he had a be on the lookout for a similar car or he thought you looked like a know criminal. They try to keep the public safe, every so often they have to inconvience a few lives for a short period to ensure there safety.

I believe there is supposed to be an actual traffic violation or erractic behavior, but as I am sure that EVERYONE knows, they DO NOT need a reason to do ****! And if the need for a reason arises in court, you can bet your sweet *** that they will come up with one, those sneaky son of a bitches get away with everything. You could have all the evidence in the world in your favor, and they would still believe those cock suckers over you!

This is BS reasons. Some people like myself work nights, he's not the only ************ who works nights ya know. If they ask to search you or you car you can say no but have to word it in a certian way. I know it something to do with privacy and you and the persons you are with.

It all depends where you're from. In Ontario Canada (where I am obviously) the police are allowed to do a "routine stop" and do not need any sort of reason at all to pull you over. It may be different where you are however.

sounds like somebody has an ax to grind. Yawn. the place is the evidence of this endemic subject? i ought to argue it. in basic terms pointing out it is a topic would not make it one. Edit: by no potential reported it did no longer take place. reported I disputed if it replaced right into a real subject or no longer. The rules of the state I stay in enable me to prudently forget approximately approximately site visitors rules (rolling via end signs and warning signs case in point) while in path to a decision. i'm particular the lady being crushed with the help of her husband would not care if I did that. i understand i might hate to be the undertaking of an inner Affairs examine for failing to apply my turn sign. God which would be a heinous waste of a Garrity Rights type. You sound like an indignant man or woman who got here upon a pastime. chuffed you're enjoying it. in spite of if i think you're a troll. it is illegitimate for companies to bare any disciplinary action taken against an officer in a criticism. companies can tell the complainant if their criticism replaced into "based", "unfounded", "sustained", and so on. although, they won't, with the help of regulation, tell somebody what disciplinary action replaced into taken. I could desire to have a witness present while i seem in my own workers record. it is perplexing to income a clean employ's previous artwork disciplinary action while hiring somebody from a prior business enterprise. You point out on your reaction to me which you have been instructed approximately officers being reprimanded. i in my view doubt the Denver PD is dumb sufficient to work together in that style of violation against its workers.

Yes, but they are supposed to have "just cause". They will have to give you a reason why they pulled you over.

He can pull you over for any reason or none whatsoever.
However, if you go to court, your lawyer will argue that the cop did not have "reasonable cause."
