I think you will be ok if you just expalin to them truthfully and tell them you did it because you were upset. Even if they charge you, you won't go to jail Just pay a fine.

It will be ok.

First of all get a good Lawyer. When a complete investigation is done and the Police have proof that you filed a False Report , they will issue a warrent for your arrrest. You will go to jail and if you have no other arrest, then you can docket out of jail. Worse thing to do is to lie. Not only that, but lots of damage against your husband. Yes, your husband will get called on the carpet, by his Probation Officer. If your on probation and you have filed a False Report then you might get some jail time. Yes you do need help, physically, morally and mentally. GET A LAWYER !!!

Well first off, be sure that you made a false report, and that you're not just changing your mind because you "love him". If it was a false report, than you commited a crime and can be charged with the crime. For a first offense, jail time is not likely, but it will cost money for a lawyer and possible fines.

If all charges against your husband are droped, he should be fine, even if on probation.

If there is alot of trouble in your relationship, and there is any kind of abuse, look for help. There are organizations all over that help women in need.

Good luck

Go to the police station/lawyer ASAP!!! and tell them all of exactly what you did and exactly why. I don't know if you will have charges pressed against you, the cops know the problems that can happen in relationships, but going to the trouble of filing a false report is foolish and wrong.
I don't know the timeframe, if it was a few weeks ago then it will be worse. If it was in the past few days it will be better, just confess asap!!! It will hurt less if you do it sooner.

Ooooooooh, are you in trouble. Filing a false report is NOT a good thing. You might be charged with filing a false report. And, yes, your husband could file charges against you as well. No, he won't get in trouble with his probation. You are the troublemaker here....shame on you.

He will probably get in trouble for no good reason, you can get in trouble for filing a fake report and yes they can prosecute you. I would speak to an attorney and fast...

Next time you get mad count to 10 or take a walk before you do something you may regret. ~ Like now...

I'm so sorry for situation and I completely understand it. I do not have the legal experience to help you, but my advice is to be honest, and look really sad.

I also would not put it in writing if you could avoid it, because words that are written are evaluated much more than spoken words. Making you less liable legally afterwards. Good luck.

No obstructing an officer is not fair. 10-year misdemeanor in this state. Sure didn't help your hubby by getting probation sniffing around.
